Quickly obtain an Octopus tourist card right at the airport. The directions are precise and easy to navigate. It's easy to figure out and find your way. Just keep in mind that the 50 HKD card is only enough for a bus ride to the city center, and the tourist card is non-refundable, so if you want a refund, this option won't work for you, but you can use it on future trips. Otherwise, everything is great.★

The ATM for withdrawing the card wasn't signposted; I had to ask for directions, but after that, it was easy and very convenient to use. The ATM was in the direction of Terminal 1, so to the left as you exit the "Nothing to Declare" area, then "Stand Trip/Exchange."★

The "MTR Tourist Day Pass" can be redeemed at the Airport Express counter after exiting Hong Kong Airport. Show the email notification to collect it, and it's activated at Tsing Yi Station. It's valid for 24 hours and is very convenient. However, seniors aged 65 and above can purchase senior citizen discount tickets at MTR service stations for a cheaper price.
