I booked a small group tour through Ctrip, and the driver arrived at the hotel on time. She was very friendly, a skilled driver—fast and steady—and the itinerary was well-planned. The car was spotless, the interior was cozy and smelled lovely. She even recommended other worthwhile attractions along the way. It was a perfect trip. Thank you, driver!

Our tour guide, Ms. Xu, was very responsible and provided excellent explanations, giving us a better understanding of Yunnan's ethnic minorities. Fuxian Lake was truly beautiful and fun. Lunch was also incredibly delicious; the potato rice was amazing, the fried taro was fragrant and spicy, and the stewed fish was light and flavorful. The best dish was stir-fried shrimp with chives—it was so good with rice! The scenery was stunning, and our tour guide was an excellent photographer, very friendly and helpful. This was truly a pure sightseeing tour with no shopping stops. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kunming, Yunnan. It's very reputable, reasonably priced, and the tour guide is highly professional—a graduate of a reputable university with a degree in tourism!

A driver was provided, and translation was only possible via WeChat. At the first location, we were taken to the ticket office; at the others, due to the large number of cars, we were dropped off in the middle of the road and given directions by hand. We had a great time walking around and found even more than we expected. The driver took us back to the hotel. I think a taxi would have been cheaper. The Stone Forest is an interesting place; 2.5 hours isn't enough. Plan a day there.
