We choose this trip to avoid climbing the mountain in July. Everything was excellent, our chauffeur mr Chen picked us from hotel and took care of us the whole trip, from collecting tickets to restaurant recommendation. Leshan big Buddha is best viewed from the ferry. After lunch we headed to the amazing Huanglongxi ancient town. After a pleasant trip back to hotel we also got a few places by Mr Chen to view Chengdu at night.

The day trip to Leshan and Huanglongxi has been amazing, it exceeded my expectations! Myself and my partner were the only foreigners in a bus full of locals, and we couldn't understand the language, but thanks to the translator, the guide made us understand everything clearly. Leshan is a very beautiful place, and seeing the giant Buddah has been awesome. All the surroundings are magical. We spent half day there. Once we left, we went to eat to a traditional Chinese restaurant and the food was awesome! After that, we moved to Huanglongxi. This place is magical. I loved it. It's a very old village still in its original shape and it was so pretty going around its streets and lanes. The tour guides were Incredible. They've been very patient with us since we couldn't speak the language, and very kind. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!

We first wanted to book a tour with a group which wanted to drive us for 5h to the destination, change the itinerary... We in the end, chose this company. We booked a private day for 5 people to go to the Budha then the HuanglongXi town. It was an amazing experience 🤩 First, the driver was really really nice, drive carefully and gave us much more time at the Budha, and it it took us the 2h planned to arrive there. Then the Budha in itself is impressive, even if we couldn't walk around it because it was closed. We would have loved to be able to do the cruise on top of hiking but the tickets were sold out when we made our decision. Anyway, we got 4h30 to hike, visit the temple, take pictures and explore the entire scenery then we took a sightseeing bus to go down (10¥) which wasn't worth it. The driver took us to the other town and gave us until 6PM there when we thought we should have rushed it to be back in Chengdu by this time. Perfect day in every way! 🥳

I trully recomend this travel offer. Not only are the huilds super friendly and offer plenty of help bit the trip is also well paced. The pick up from the hotel went smoothly the food was great and the program provided is just perfect. The only regret i have is that the boat ride and the walking tour is an either/or option, I would have loved takingthem both but at the end it didnt affect my exporience and id still rate this tour as one of the best i had.

Generally speaking, large group tours really put guides to the test, and today's guides, Yang and Lu, all passed the test, haha. The overall itinerary was well-planned, the hike wasn't particularly tiring, and the weather was great—it didn't rain during the climb. The boat and hike groups were separated, each led by a guide; our hiking group had two guides accompanying us, one in front and one behind. From lunchtime onwards, we ate according to the assigned seating. We chatted happily with some friends from Xi'an at our table, and we continued to exchange ideas during the hike. Lunch was quite good; we even got to try the braised beef (apparently, it's not available every day, so we were lucky!). The dishes weren't greasy overall, and it was quite delicious for a group meal. Near the end of the trip, the guides recommended some Chengdu delicacies, haha, which was really thoughtful, bringing a wonderful end to our Chengdu trip. Sichuan is wonderful; I'll definitely come back next time.

Our guide was Mr. Gary. We booked the panda and Leshan Giant Buddha tour. I thought it was a bit pricey, but since we avoided the summer holiday period, it was a private tour just for my wife and me, which actually made it feel quite reasonable. The car was a luxury minivan, which made the ride very comfortable. We also had a lot of flexibility with the schedule, which was a great help. It was an English tour, but the guide adjusted the pace to ours, so we could understand almost everything. My wife got tired and started walking slowly at one point, but the guide adjusted the pace for her. We were able to enjoy the tour without any problems.
