The whole trip was fantastic! Our tour leader, Michael, was incredibly friendly and even ordered us some super delicious peanut ice cream rolls at Shifen Old Street. I highly recommend this day trip! 🙌🙌🙌★

Fascinating to see other parts of Taiwan not too far from Taipei and learn some history. See incredible natural sights and just a great half day trip. Highly recommend. Amy was/is fantastic, enthusiastic, happy and so knowledgeable (in many languages)!★

I visited a few years ago, and this time the environment was just as clean and well-maintained, without any signs of wear and tear. Whether you get an oil massage or acupressure, you change clothes in your room first, then wash your feet in the courtyard before returning to your room. We chose an oil massage, which was similar to Thai massage, starting with muscle relaxation before applying oil. The masseuses were very professional (mostly female, it seemed). After the massage, we changed clothes again and went downstairs for refreshments. The whole experience was very comfortable, and there were quite a few tourists (Japanese). I recommend it to everyone.★

The tour, which included a city walk and historical explanations, was entirely in English. It was a very enjoyable time, learning about the history and relationship between Taiwan and Japan, and with many questions from other participants. I gave a tip at the end. I would like to participate again.
