We will provide a private car service to pick you up on time at your hotel in Shanghai (within the inner ring of Shanghai), then start a day of city exploration, taking you through the past and present of Shanghai.
In the morning light, the chartered car first enters the Bund—the century-old Shikumen buildings along both sides of Yuanmingyuan Road awaken at dawn. You will stroll along this tranquil street, admire the exquisite reliefs of the YWCA Building, and listen to the whispers of plane trees and bell chimes in the garden of the former British Consulate.
Then take a stroll along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, stepping on the iconic enamel tiles and admiring the baroque-style grand dome of Wing On Department Store. In the afternoon, visit the Wu Tongwen residence on Tongren Road—this green house designed by master architect László Hudec features a jade-green spiral staircase connecting four floors. In the evening, I wandered into the M50 Creative Park by the Suzhou Creek, where rusty textile machines stood side by side with avant-garde galleries, metal installations pierced through red brick walls, and massive graffiti shimmered in the sunset glow. The industrial ruins have been reborn through contemporary art, and you can freely explore the galleries to feel the creative energy.
