We provide Private Tours specifically for Foreigners

We will pick you up from your Chengdu hotel and drive to the stunning Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area, known as the "Oriental Alps."

Along the way, we'll pass two remarkable viewpoints:

  • Balang Mountain Pass: A high-altitude pass offering spectacular views of the sea of clouds and sunrise
  • Maobiliang Viewing Platform: The best spot for panoramic views of Siguniang Mountain's four main peaks

Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area, which features snow-covered peaks, including the famous Yaomei Peak (6,250 meters), alongside vast alpine meadows, crystal-clear rivers, and pristine valleys—an ideal destination for hiking and photography.

For a one-day tour, we can choose Shuangqiaogou or Changpinggou for a tour.

Shuangqiaogou Attractions:

Red Fir Forest

At an altitude of 3,840 meters, this 2-kilometer forest of red firs features a wooden walkway. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of snow-capped mountains and red firs, which is perfect for taking photos. You can also experience playing in the snow.

Potala Peak

With an altitude of 5,428 meters, this is an excellent spot for photography in Shuangqiao Gully. There is a road leading to the snow-capped mountains. On the right side, you will see white pagodas and meadows. The view is vast, and you can feel like you are in the clouds.

Siguniang Lake

At an altitude of 3,588 meters, this lake is believed to be the sacred bathing place of the four sisters. The lake water is crystal clear, and there are only a few trees around it. However, the scenery is breathtaking, and it is suitable for capturing the reflection of the snow-capped mountains. It has a sense of sanctity.

Nianyu Dam

At an altitude of 3,500 meters, this is a popular drift point in Shuangqiao Gully. However, the drift is quite expensive. It is recommended to take the wooden walkway instead. You can walk along the path and enjoy the beautiful scenery of meadows, yaks, streams, and small bridges. This section is known as the "Path of the Soul."

Ren Shen Guo Ping

At an altitude of 3,300 meters, this is the last stop in Shuangqiao Gully. You can lie on the lawn to rest and enjoy the peaceful scene of the stream flowing quietly and yaks grazing. It is a great place to relax and unwind.

Changpinggou Attractions:

Lama Temple

At the entrance of Changping Gully, there is a Lama Temple. It is a Tibetan Buddhist Gelugpa monastery. The temple is filled with the fragrance of incense, and it is a place where you can experience the rich religious culture.

Tangbai Ancient Road

Starting from the Lama Temple, you can follow the ancient road and see ancient cypress trees. These trees have witnessed the historical changes of Changping Gully. The scenery along the way is beautiful, making it a great place for hiking.

Dead Tree Beach

There are many dead trees here, each with a unique shape. They form a stark contrast with the surrounding snow-capped mountains and grasslands, giving a sense of desolation. It is a paradise for photography enthusiasts.

Mu Luo Zi

This is an important attraction in Changping Gully. There are vast meadows and snow-capped mountains here. The view is wide open, and you can get a close-up view of the youngest peak of Mount Siguniang. You can also enjoy horse riding across the meadows.

Maobiang (Optional if time permits)

This is the best place to get a panoramic view of Mount Siguniang. Take a short break here to admire the magnificent scenery of the mountains.

Return to Chengdu and dropoff at your hotel.
