I highly recommend visiting the Summer Palace and listening to Guide Li! I initially thought it would just be a stroll through the park, but the guided tour was incredibly enriching. Guide Li didn't just read from a script; he eloquently explained the stories behind the painted walls of the Long Corridor, the garden's design intentions, and palace anecdotes, weaving them into historical facts in a engaging and informative way. The itinerary was well-paced, avoiding a rushed or superficial experience, and he patiently answered all my questions. The entire tour was guided, with no hard selling. Everywhere in the Summer Palace has its intricacies, and only with a professional guide can you truly understand this World Heritage Site. It was a truly unforgettable experience during my trip to Beijing.★

Melonie was amazing, no complaints at all. Even though the weather was not ideal, she kept her cool, and was very nice to everyone. The meeting point was easy to find, she sent very thoughtful instructions on WhatsApp before our visit. We connected on WeChat so if someone got lost they could call her and if we had any questions she answered patiently. She sends additional info on what to see, where to go, where to eat etc.★
