This trip to the Dimaniyat islands was the definite highlight of my holiday in Oman and a must-do. We headed out on a boat to the islands and after about 30-mins we already arrived to the first snorkelling site. Right after getting into the water we already saw a huge group of turtles and had plenty of time, about an hour to swim and snorkel with them. Afterwards we took the boat to a second snorkelling site where the underwater world was even more beautiful with corals and a lot of different types of colourful fish and some more turtles. To end the trip we went to a third place very close to the sandy beach of one of the islands. During this time people were not allowed on the actual island, but our guide, Fahad made sure we get as close as possible. What I would like to point out is not only the helpfulness and friendliness of Fahad (I went with my mum who had knee surgery last year so it was a bit harder for her to climb back on the boat and he always had a helping hand for her, also help with using the snorkels), but most importantly his amazing attitude. Towards appreciating and preserving nature, advising us on what not to do to scare the turtles and to make sure we leave nature just as we found it. He radiated a love for the sea and its creatures and I could tell how important this was for him. All throughout the trip we were supplied by water, juices, sandwiches and fruits to make sure everyone has energy.
All in all I had the best time ever and would do this trip again in a heartbeat!
Oh, and afterwards I asked him for the photos and videos he took underwater with his camera and that very day he was kind enough to share it. A huge thank you from me and my mum★

We really enjoyed the tour. Everything was perfect: the routes, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere. Our guide, a wonderful woman, told us about the animals and their habitats, answered our questions, and presented the information in an engaging and accessible manner. Her assistant reserved the best seats for us at the shows, allowing us to enjoy the show with excellent visibility. The park offers a unique opportunity to see animals in their natural environment without putting them under unnecessary stress. Everything was thought out down to the last detail—safety, comfortable paths, and well-designed infrastructure. We left with vivid impressions and gratitude, and would definitely recommend this trip!★

Teacher Mao was very professional. A native of Shanghai, she was extremely familiar with Yu Garden and provided a very detailed explanation throughout the tour. The process wasn't tiring at all. We heard many stories about the garden, some of which weren't even online but were only recorded in the county annals. It was very vivid and interesting. She even took us to the City God Temple before the tour ended. It was definitely worth the trip! Yu Garden truly needs a guided tour; otherwise, you simply won't understand it! This trip was very worthwhile!★

It was a trip with friends, and the guide's explanation was good, but it was a shame that there were no lights around during the cruise. The lights came on for about the last ten minutes, so I was disappointed that I didn't have time to take pictures.
