Reviews: Baku: Gobustan, Mud Volcanoes, Fire Mountain & Temple Tour
Guest User2026-04-11
The tour allows you to see all the places that are difficult to reach on your own. The bus was comfortable, and the group size was good—17 people packed up quickly and moved from place to place without any hassle. The mud volcanoes aren't particularly impressive, but you can reach them off-road in a Niva, which is in danger of falling apart. The most interesting spots are Gobustan (an open-air museum) and the Fire Temple in Absheron. Be prepared to pay extra for the tickets and the Niva ride (we paid 65 manat per person for all the extras) plus lunch. Bring water and a small snack, as lunch isn't until 2:00 PM. The tour was offered in three languages: English, Spanish, and Turkish. They said there were Russian-speaking groups, but we didn't find that option. Overall, it was a great experience for a very reasonable price.

Reviews: Baku: Candy Mountain, Pink Lake, Besh Barmag Dag and Mosque

An absolutely fantastic excursion! Everything was perfectly organized, relaxed, and simply wonderful. Our guide, Namig, was outstanding, very friendly, and helpful. As I have a disability, he assisted me in many situations and ensured that I could experience the tour as comfortably as possible. I am especially grateful to him for that. The landscapes and sights were breathtaking, and the people were incredibly warm and hospitable. The food was also excellent! Baku and the surrounding area are definitely worth a visit, and this tour is a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the country. A huge thank you to Namig for his support and the wonderful experience. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to everyone.

We toured with Shihov as a guide. He was very informative with Azerbaijan's history/ places. Also as a guide, he was chill and socially aware with his guests. 10/10!!!

Reviews: Half-Day Baku, Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes Adventure

A fantastic day exploring Gobustan National Park, the mud volcanoes, and especially the ride in a vintage car (Lada). It's a must-do outside of the capital. Our guide, Ruzy, was perfect throughout the entire excursion.
