I didn't use customer service, so I'm giving it 3 stars, but I'd give it 5 stars for the fact that I didn't need to use it.
Upon landing, I simply turned on mobile data and roamed, and it connected instantly. The signal strength was good, and overall, including the cost, it's excellent.
I opted for 10GB for 3 days, but since there was free Wi-Fi at the airport and hotel, I only ended up using about 2GB. Even with almost constant Google Maps use during the day and night, that's how much I used, so next time I'll aim for 1GB per day.★

The 100GB/day plan cost around 700 yen for four days, which was very affordable, and being able to use Google Maps while traveling by taxi was extremely helpful. Because I was using an Android device, I had to manually create the APN, but I was relieved to be able to connect to the internet immediately upon arrival in Taipei.★

Setting up the eSIM was as easy as pressing a button on the Trip.com smartphone app. I was able to use the network immediately after switching it at the airport upon departure and arrival. It was much easier than mobile Wi-Fi because there was no need to pick up or return anything. I would definitely choose this again next time.
