Reviews: No optional zoo visit, includes Gibson Steps | Melbourne Great Ocean Road Trail + Twelve Apostles Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-12
For those who can't easily drive themselves, the Great Ocean Road is perfect for a day tour! The scenery along the way is absolutely stunning š¤š»! The guides were very thorough, covering various historical backgrounds, and there was plenty of time for photos and sightseeing. We arrived at the Twelve Apostles in the morning, and the photos we took weren't backlit at all; the itinerary was very well-planned. The Great Rift Valley was also breathtaking! We even saw wild koalas by the roadsideāso lucky!ā

This Great Ocean Road trip was the highlight of our Melbourne tour. Many thanks to our driver and guide, Jack, for his company throughout the journey, which taught us many interesting facts and provided insights into Australian culture and customs. Although it was during the National Day holiday and quite crowded, the overall experience was fantastic!ā

Reviews: Great Ocean Road Classic Sunset Day-Tour [English & Chinese speaking driver/guide & popular spots & air-conditioned bus] in Melbourne
Guest User2026-10-09
The tour bus arrived on time, exactly as originally scheduled, with four pickup points. We visited all the planned locations during the tour. The weather was great, the views were clear, and we were lucky enough to see koalas at one of the stops. Our driver-guide, Augustin, was very positive and humorous, and shared many interesting facts about Australia and the places we were visiting. His driving skills were excellent. The tour was in English, as advertised. Augustin spoke several languages. The group was well-disciplined, and we returned to Melbourne as planned. I was very pleased with the tour. The price was reasonable. I recommend it.ā

Reviews: all-inclusive zoo/Split Point Lighthouse] Melbourne Great Ocean Walk + Twelve Apostles 1-day tour
Guest User2026-11-02
The experience was fantastic! The Great Ocean Road boasts stunning coastal scenery, with the Twelve Apostles being particularly magnificent. Driving along the winding coastal road, the azure sea contrasts beautifully with the steep cliffs, creating a breathtaking panorama. The itinerary was well-paced, with a good balance of activity and rest, allowing ample time to explore each stop. The driver was attentive and reliable, driving smoothly and confidently, and providing insightful commentary on the history and culture of the Great Ocean Road. He even helped us spot wild koalas along the way. The sea breeze was refreshing, the scenery was soothing, and the immersive experience offered a unique and romantic feel to the Australian coast. A must-visit in Melbourne!ā

Reviews: Melbourne Great Ocean Road + Twelve Apostles Day Tour -General Route or Reverse Route-The reverse bus tour, plus some tour types, includes lunch at the zoo at the participants' own expense.

David was an excellent guide! He explained every place so thoroughly, covering not only the scenery but also the local culture, history, and interesting stories behind each location. You can really feel how much he loves and appreciates this place, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
He was also very polite, patient, punctual, and responsible throughout the trip. I genuinely had such a great time and learned so much along the way. The trip was not only fun but also packed with interesting knowledge.
Highly recommend David if you want to truly understand and experience the place rather than just visit the sights!ā

Reviews: [Go West Tours]Great Ocean Road DayTour fromMelbourne|EnglishGuide|Max24|16Languages Audio

Thanks to our driver/guide Benjamin and trainee guide Neil (I hope I spelled it correctly?) for a wonderful day. Benjamin was funny and humorous, telling many jokes to keep us entertained. His accent and expression were also very clear and understandable, even for a non-native English speaker like myself (compared to other day tours I've taken in Australia, where guides usually speak faster and have more pronounced speech, making them harder to understand). Benjamin has many years of tour guiding experience and even took us to some interesting, less-traveled attractions. He was very responsible, checking the number of people at each stop. I especially need to thank Benjamin for not keeping my bank card after I left it in the car. He immediately reported it to the company and contacted me, allowing me to retrieve my card before returning to Hong Kong. Sincere thanks to Benjamin, Go West Tour, the female staff member on duty that day, and Neil. ā GAOī„
