We took a tour with transfers from our hotel to the pier. We were picked up by minivan from the hotel, and had a light snack at the meeting point at the pier. Then it was a one-hour boat ride to Koh Tao Island, where we snorkeled at two locations. The first was more impressive; we even saw a small shark and a variety of fish, both large and small. There were no turtles. Next, we were taken to another island for lunch, and given three hours to explore. We were able to climb up to the island's deck and spend time on the beach. The water was crystal clear, and we didn't want to leave; we even felt the allotted time was a bit short. We had a truly amazing experience. Our child especially enjoyed it!★

It was my first time to take ferry for traveling and it was a good experience also it was good decision to book bus and ferry as it much cheaper than taking a taxi to the pier also to book a transfer ticket with 150 baht you book it when you arrive at the ticket counter it saved me a lot of money when I reached to koh samui instead of taking taxi also saved me lots of time searching for a ride .Trip.com picks
