It was a very successful whale watching trip. I booked the 9:30 am boat, a double-decker, which was less crowded and had a better view. If you get seasick, you can book the larger 9 am boat. We saw whales leaping, at least a dozen humpback whales. One humpback whale even leaped right next to the boat. On the way back, we also spotted a dolphin with us.★

While not witnessing a spectacular whale leap was a bit of a disappointment, seeing whales appear was still a wonderful surprise and gave me a 98% satisfaction! During the 2.5-hour voyage, thanks to taking seasickness medication in advance and sitting at the stern, I perfectly avoided the discomfort of seasickness, making it a very lucky and unforgettable experience.Trip.com picks
