After booking tickets online, you can exchange them for physical tickets at the designated location; the price is cheaper than buying them on-site. Park your car at the Shuishe Zhongxing Parking Lot, and walk up to the ticket collection point. There are public restrooms next to it, and it's not far from the Shuishe Wharf. Take a boat to Floating Dock No. 1. Look for the staff wearing yellow vests to check your tickets and board the boat. On holidays, boats depart approximately every 15-20 minutes, and they leave when full. The type of boat you take may vary each time.

Our tour guide for this day trip was Xiao Yang, whose license plate number was RGE-7199. He was extremely responsible, warm, and attentive throughout the entire trip. Before setting off, he asked if we had any motion sickness or other health issues, and he also promptly informed us of the weather changes, reminding us to prepare jackets and rain gear—very thoughtful. His driving skills were safe and comfortable, and at each scenic spot, he patiently took photos for us, ensuring we had wonderful memories. His service made the entire trip easy and enjoyable.

Our tour guide, Peter Chou, was the soul of our group; everyone loved him. He was witty, talkative, and humorous, explaining the stories of Sun Moon Lake to us with great professionalism. He organized the activities meticulously. Originally, we planned to take a boat trip on the lake first, followed by a bike ride around it, but he was worried about rain later, so he changed the itinerary to ensure everyone had a good time. We visited Shuishe Pier, Ita Sho, and Xuan Guang Pier. He arranged a traditional Shao ethnic lunch for us—a fantastic day experience! 👍

I am writing this because there are no reviews. The day before, the person in charge will inform you of the pickup time and the order of locations. The itinerary is Pickup (8 am) -> Xiangshan Visitor Center & Wenwu Temple (1.5h) -> Sun Moon Lake (3.5h) -> Gaomei Wetlands (1.5h). The guide provides explanations in English and Chinese only for the first location; the rest is free time. Specifically for Sun Moon Lake, you are provided with a boat, and you can freely travel by boat for 3 hours, going from Shuishe to Xuangguang, then to Itashao, and finally back to Shuishe. You can have lunch in Itashao during this time. The wetlands are also free time; you go to watch the sunset and return by vehicle by 5:30 pm, after which you will be dropped off at the place where you first boarded. The tour starts around 8 pm and ends between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. I chose this tour because I wanted to see Gaomei Wetlands and Sun Moon Lake, but I didn't really want to visit Rainbow Village. I recommend this tour to anyone in a similar situation.

Yesterday I joined a one-day tour of Cingjing Gaomei and easily visited Cingjing Farm and Gaomei Wetland! 😍 We booked this tour on Trip.com early in the morning and the driver picked us up right downstairs from the hotel at 07:30. After a two-hour drive, we arrived at the gate of [Cingjing Farm] at 10:00. Farm tickets are NT$270 per person and include door rolls for both fields. If you want to go in and out multiple times, remember to stamp your hand! Once you enter the farm, you are sucked in by the view in front of you at first sight, and you can't stop taking pictures! There are photo spots everywhere, and there is also a sheep show and a riding show, where you can see the interaction between the shepherd and the sheep, super interesting🤩. As for the [Cingjing High Altitude Sightseeing Trail], remember to pay another NT$50 entrance fee. When I was looking for tickets online, I found out that there is a "Farm + Trail + Little Swiss Hill Package". Walking up the trail, the view is wider, even the mountain view is another feeling, more beautiful photos! The trail goes down to the north ticket gate to the south ticket gate, then down to [Cingjing Little Swiss Garden] and [Carton King]. The driver was scheduled to wait for us at the south ticket gate or Little Swiss Garden at 14:00. Get on the bus again and leave for [Gaomei Wetland]. This journey takes about two hours and arrives at 4pm. There are many tourists in Gaomei Wetland, crowded, but we agreed with the driver to meet at 17:40, we first went to the coffee shop to chill a chill☕, then went out to the wooden canyon to watch the sunset.
