Reviews: 25 tastes of Latvia:Riga Central Market & Old Town Food Tour

This tour was excellent. Inara was a brilliant guide who was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel really comfortable on the trip. We learnt a huge amount about the markets, local food, local culture and Latvia as a country. The market is impressive although we hadn’t realised before the trip that some of it is closed on a Monday so if you do have choice of the day you go then maybe bear this in mind. It didn’t affect any of the food stalls that we tried and actually made it a bit quieter and easy to hear but I do think it’s worth knowing. We tried fish, chicken, cheeses, pesto on bread (our fave!), grey peas, sorrel soup, buns, kefir, and sweets. The last part of the tour you go to the old town and sit in the town hall cafeteria for the final tastings which was a nice additional experience at the end. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get a true taste of Latvia.

Excellent excursion: the suggested visits couldn't have been done outside the program. We thoroughly enjoyed the many discoveries. Our guide Krista was fantastic: dynamic, dedicated, and full of humor. We highly recommend this excursion!

We ended up getting a private tour with Mara, as no one else booked, and she was a fantastic guide! She shared about her life in Latvia, showed us some must-see stops, and entertained us with some local stories. The place we stopped to get pastries for lunch was so cute and the sweet and savory pastries were delicious. She also shared two amazing recommendations for dinner and rooftop drinks in Riga after she dropped us back off! It was a great first day in Latvia and made our experience walking around old town the next day even more valuable with the little tidbits she had shared.

Reviews: Riga: Beer or Cider Bike Tour

This trip was just amazing! The driver and guide were both so hospitable and friendly, with a good dose of humor and a good atmosphere. It's been a long time since I've laughed so much as on this trip. The driver had lived in Norway for three years and suddenly switched to Norwegian, which added an extra touch to the whole trip. Highly recommended regardless of age group. Keep up the good work guys! Prieka - RO - Paldies 🥰🥂🍾

I was very happy with this tour and the guide and would highly recommend it!! The guide is very informative and fun! I really like the small group size of this tour and the sites were a must see if you're visiting Riga. The lunch location was delicious and gave you a chance to try many different dishes at very low prices. All in all - a perfect tour!!
