Walking for an hour to cross the border is something everyone does, so I did it even though I didn't like it, and the driver was skilled. The scenery on the way up the mountain was also nice. However, the young female guide just sat in the passenger seat chatting with the driver and didn't provide any information to the passengers (e.g., arriving at the restroom in minutes, how many kilometers were left to the border, arrival times, sightseeing tips, etc.). She only gave brief answers when a passenger asked a question. As she had only learned British English, she couldn't understand American or Asian English well, so the guide was a bit frustrating.

The best tour! We booked a group tour, but it turned out to be a private one—a huge plus. Thanks to our guide, Jonny! He was incredibly engaging, sharing many unusual and interesting facts, sometimes with a touch of humor and heart. Thanks to his stories, we truly learned about the past and present of Uzbekistan, gaining a deeper understanding of its traditions and customs. We also learned a lot about Amir Timur—a great military leader and man. And, best of all, Jonny took excellent photographs, capturing some stunning shots. We highly recommend him!

Excellent coordination with the tour operator, driver, and guide. The service provided was as described end to end delivery. I estimated the actual cost of DIY and this definitely cost more but you can charge that to convenience.
