Reviews: Zhangye Mati Temple half-day tour (Buddhist chants hidden in sheer cliffs, a half-day exploration of the millennia-old secret realm beneath the Qilian Mountains)

The driver was very friendly and the tour was well worth it. The site is superb and takes about 4 hours. Shuttles take you to each viewpoint and site. Be aware that some passages in the caves are difficult to access and the stairs are challenging to climb. However, some of the views are absolutely stunning.

To be honest… quite expensive just for hiring the transport and getting the tickets to Danxia and Mati Caves. However, both drivers were attentive. Both places are fantastic and beautiful!
