Based on 1,133 reviewAndechs Monastery was rebuilt following a fire in 1675. It is a Rococo-style building where you can see some of Germany's oldest votive candles. In fact, the vast majority of visitors come here to visit the Braustuberl, the monastery's beer hall and garden, known as a beer paradise. The monks at the monastery have been brewing beer here for 500 years. It serves 6 different types of beer, from dark to wheat, offering a complete selection. It is always packed with tourists, making it easy to forget that this is a religious site. On summer weekends, it is particularly crowded, with long lines at the food stalls.
