Hua Army Office

The full name of Baoding Huaijun Office is "Baoding Huaijun Zhaozhong Temple and Office". It was built by Li Hongzhang, then Governor-General of Zhili and Minister of Beiyang, in 1888 (the 14th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign). It covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters and a building area of more than 5,000 square meters. It is the largest and best-preserved Huaijun Zhaozhong Temple in my country. It is also the best-preserved building complex in the north with the main body of the Hui-style ancestral hall building of the Qing Dynasty. The building complex integrates the Hui-style architecture and the northern architectural style, and has extremely high historical and artistic value. Its main building, the Grand Theater, is the largest existing closed theater in the Qing Dynasty in China. In 2013, it was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
