Our recent stay at Palm Suite was a pleasant and straightforward experience. The standout feature was definitely the front desk service—the staff were consistently friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout our check-in and stay, which always makes a trip nicer. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable for the price. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit and felt like a good home base. The location is a major plus. Being close to a McDonald’s was unexpectedly handy for a quick, reliable breakfast or a late-night snack. The surrounding area in Tanjong Tokong has plenty of other dining and convenience options within easy reach. A small point to note is that the property does not have covered roof parking. While we found parking, it's something to be aware of if you're traveling with a car, especially during rainy weather. N no lift to 2nd floor In the bathroom, we noticed the jacuzzi jet function in the bathtub could use an upgrade, as it wasn't operating at full power. That said, the bath itself was perfectly fine for a relaxing soak, so it wasn't a big issue for us—just something the management might look into for future updates. Overall, I’m not complaining! Palm Suite delivers solid value: it's comfortable, well-located, and backed by great service. It’s an excellent choice for a practical, no-fuss stay in Penang. It rained heavily last night, so we didn't get to see the iron flower performance. However, we stayed in a really beautiful and comfortable hotel and had a super pleasant afternoon nap, which made me very happy (even though it was completely dark when I woke up, haha 🐶). The hotel clearly put a lot of effort into its design; it was very clean and tidy. While not luxurious, the decor was very cozy. There was also a drying area behind the kitchen, and a small courtyard relaxation area, with small gardens both upstairs and downstairs. We stayed in a first-floor room, and I was completely surprised that the door was so close behind a brick screen! When I opened the door, I was stunned by a wall full of books 😂. For a moment, I thought they had accidentally led us into a study! It turned out to be the Harry Potter themed room we booked, hahaha, what a pleasant surprise! 🌹🌹🌹

Clean and new property . Found many minor issues like drainage clogging, hair dryer and door lock issues. Owner responded immediately and sent people to check on it even late night. Good service ! If more amenities like tissues, plastic bags provided for refill will be much more appreciated

For our trip to Escape Theme Park, this accommodation was perfect! (Location wise) The host thoughtfully switched on the air conditioner and lights before our arrival, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. The spacious layout more than enough for our group of 3 families (10 people in total). The photos shown accurately reflect the unit. Cleanliness was spot-on, and the most impressive part was the bed comfort, it was of excellent quality. All the pillows smelled fresh, and everything was well-prepared. The only minor was the RM500 deposit, which is only returned 3 to 5 days after checkout, and I had to send a reminder to the host on the 6th day. I'm used to receiving the deposit back the day after checking out. However, this did not affect our stay at all, overall, it was a great experience with the unit! Most importantly, thanks to the Trip platform for the worthwhile promo price!

Things to note / Cons: · Tourist tax applies (Penang state levy) · Parking may be full until late afternoon — because office workers park there during work hours; clears up after they leave. Not ideal if you arrive before evening. Verdict: A spacious and quiet option with convenient parking (once available) and free Netflix. Just be aware of the Penang tourist tax and potential daytime parking challenges. Best for travellers who can check-in later in the afternoon or evening.

I used it while traveling alone. The type of outlet didn't suit me so the charger I brought with me wouldn't work, but they quickly provided a replacement. I rented one room out of several buildings (houses), and the facilities were all clean. The other guests were quiet so I was able to use it without any problems, and it was very satisfying as it was reasonable compared to the price.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Comfy Bungalow Family House NR Pg Hill & Kek Lok Si. The house is very spacious, especially the master room, which is huge and super comfortable. Overall, the rooms were good and the air conditioning worked well throughout our stay. The house layout is also convenient: the single room is on the first floor, while the other three rooms are on the second. The stairs are manageable, and there’s a toilet on the first floor plus two on the second floor (one in the master room and one shared), which made it very practical for a group stay. The bunk bed setup is quite unique, but guests may need to be a bit careful when sharing, especially at night, as there isn’t much space for the upper bunk occupant to step down easily. The place was clean and hygienic, with towels and basic amenities provided, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and straightforward to follow. The location is a big plus — it’s near the market with lots of great local food options within easy reach, which made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. There are just a few small areas that could make the experience even better, such as having simple instructions for using the combined microwave and oven, providing hand soap in the toilets and switching off the timer for the dining room aircon. Overall, it’s a comfortable and value-for-money stay, especially for families or groups. We would definitely consider coming back again!

Beautiful place, very very good value. Nice location in batu ferringhi, big comfortable bed, no issues checking in. Only small problem was getting the hot water shower working at first, but very good value for money
