This is our first time in the Maldives, and I'm absolutely thrilled! The airport transfer was quick, followed by a mini-tour of the island and then check-in. The villas are spacious and clean, with everything you need. The weather is fantastic! Even though it's supposedly the rainy season in September. They gave me a lovely birthday surprise! The staff are incredibly responsive and responsible; all requests were met with instant action! Thank you all so much 🫶! Everything was wonderful, a truly amazing vacation!

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Without question, this is the best-value Maldivian resort we have ever visited. We've stayed at several resorts in the Maldives, and none have managed to combine luxury, efficiency, quality and value quite like this. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. Check-in was seamless, and throughout our stay the team consistently thought two steps ahead, ensuring that arrivals, bookings, activities and departure arrangements were all perfectly coordinated. We never once felt stressed or had to waste time waiting for anything. The Dusit Gold app was exceptionally responsive and useful, making the entire experience smooth and effortless. Our villa was spotless, and housekeeping was outstanding. Turnover and turndown service were always completed perfectly and punctually. Every detail in the room worked flawlessly — from the coffee machine and hot water to the bathtub, water pressure and lighting. Nothing was faulty, which is surprisingly rare even at luxury resorts. The food was genuinely some of the best we have experienced in the Maldives, with authentic flavours and a huge selection of food and drinks included in the all-inclusive package. What impressed us most was that the resort never cut corners. Unlike some resorts that can be stingy with portions or beverage quality, here they provide the full wholesome experience. Drinks were always generously poured and promptly refilled, and there was an excellent variety of restaurants open simultaneously for dinner, giving plenty of choice each evening. Special thanks to Mohamed and the wonderful Barcelonian dive instructor, who were incredibly kind, professional and personable. They even remembered us by name before we had arrived at the dive centre, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The management team was equally impressive — professional, attentive and seemingly never saying no to any request. The spa treatments were excellent, especially the Thai massage by the Bhutanese therapist, and we also enjoyed one of the best deep tissue massages from the personal trainer at the gym. Prices for activities, spa treatments and extras were all very fair and represented excellent value. Despite being close to Malé, the marine life was thriving and abundant. The water was crystal clear, peaceful and free from noise pollution. We were pleasantly surprised by how lush and vibrant the underwater environment was. Another thing we appreciated was the sense of space. There was never any need to fight for sun loungers, cabanas or tables. Everything felt spacious and relaxed. Families are also exceptionally well catered for, with both a kids' club and a teens' club — something that is surprisingly rare. For travellers who want to maximize their time in the Maldives and avoid spending hours on seaplane transfers, this resort is an absolute gem. The convenience of being close to Malé combined with such a luxurious atmosphere is hard to beat. Overall, this has been the most value-for-money yet genuinely luxurious resort we have ever experienced. Exceptional service, outstanding food, thoughtful management, and a team that consistently goes above and beyond make this a place we would return to without hesitation. Will definitely be back.

The resort provides a dedicated luxury speedboat that picks you up and drops you off directly at the airport. It takes away all the stress of travel logistics. The island itself is incredibly well-maintained. The sand is powdery white, and the entire resort is kept spotlessly clean, preserving the natural beauty of the Maldives. A Sanctuary for Peace What I appreciated most was how the resort caters to both physical and spiritual well-being. They have a beautifully maintained mosque on the island, which is very serene, clean and well-kept. It added a layer of calm and convenience that made the stay even more meaningful And not to forget, for your food of mind, they also have a mini library so that we can lay down through out the stay accompanied by the book of our choice. It can be borrowed & later returned via the reception. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The island is not far from airport so it is good. There are no other hotels at the island so you just have to do everything at the hotel. For someone not into seasports staying too long at the hotel can be boring. It was low season so there weren't alot of tourists till the day before i checked out. I liked it when it was quieter. Some restaurants are not open everyday and you have to reserve if they are open. The free food credit they give is not very reasonable as it stated you can't eat at another restaurant before using the credit at another restaurant, but why should it be so when i have already paid for a full board and entitled to a fully paid meal at another restaurant already? There was also twice when the restaurant got my orders wrong. They served me fish when i ordered beef and later told me beef has ran out. If so you should tell me so when i ordered and i actually went to the restaurant not long after they open. Also they way they served the fish is as though i ordered it, only when i said i didnt order it they said oh there must be a mistake becos beef has ran out. Then you should explain to me when you took the order, or before you served you inform me and ask me to choose something else instead of giving me the fish. Thus it was quite clear they took the wrong order and not becos there was no beef. The next morning at breakfast which i went very early as well, already the vegetables had ran out at the noodles station. I order egg white omelette and they served me the normal omelette. After that i could hear the staff arguing among themselves who got the wrong order. Had lunch at the Kakuni hut and 1 of the fillet was rubbery, the meat was sticking to the skin and the skin cannot be detached easily as well. It doesn't taste unfresh so u dont know what was the problem. They did redo another fillet for me which is better but the quality wasn't the same as the 2nd piece of fillet on the 1st plate. Anyway for those going, bring your sunblock and most importantly insect repellent as there are lots of mosquitoes there and insect repellent is not provided

Pro - We had a fantastic stay at OBLU XPERIENCE. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes each day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great value resort that we would happily recommend to family and friends. Also special mentions to Kids Club. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. The staff were friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive, making the children feel welcome and safe. Our kids especially enjoyed the games, creative activities, and the fun atmosphere. It was reassuring to know they were having such a great time while we relaxed and enjoyed the resort. The Kids Club is well-equipped for different age groups and offers a good balance of play, learning, and social interaction. A big thank you to the Kids Club team for their enthusiasm and dedication. They helped make our family holiday even more memorable. We would highly recommend the Kids Club to families visiting OBLU Maldives. Cons - While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, one disappointing experience was being prohibited from entering the water directly from our water villa at 7:00 a.m. The sea was calm and the tide was low, making the conditions safe. One of the main reasons for booking a water villa is the freedom to access the ocean at any time, so this restriction was frustrating and took away from the experience.

If you're seeking late-night parties and DJs, this might not be the resort for you. Now, let's dive into the details. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-25 minute speedboat ride from Male airport. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the island is small enough to walk around in 15-20 minutes. We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool and half-board. The pool was shaded by palm trees during the hottest parts of the day, and the beach was simply perfect. The online photos might appear a bit dated, but the reality is much better. Our dedicated butler, Reema, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our babymoon special with hot baths, flower arrangements, and private celebrations. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The resort features three restaurants and a charming bar. The food at Lime, the main restaurant, was exceptional—everything we tried was delicious. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, it was complemented by an à la carte menu that offered a variety of tasty options. Lala made our dinners extra special with his food recommendations and attentiveness to our preferences. Overall, our entire trip was a success, and the Baros team truly made it memorable. Things to know: - Transfers are chargeable by the hotel. Ensure you inform them of your arrival flight 2 days in advance and get confirmation on your transfer. - The hotel is very relaxed and private, making it ideal for newlyweds, honeymooners, and families with older children. - The resort offers daily activities, including excursions, snorkeling trips, cruises, yoga, and more. Some activities are chargeable, while others are free, and all necessary gear is available at the Marine Center at no cost. We would visit again.

Transportation from airport to resort should have included, it’s quite expensive for almost £150 each extra. The room is old and ac is not cold enough but the view is amazing. The service could be a lot better as it’s 4 star hotel. I had a lot expectations as it’s Thai’s brand. All Centara in Thailand is unbelievable good. Foods are not worth the money at all. Breakfast is not good enough. Dinner is funny. Need to book the restaurant every night and every day are fully booked. It seemed like it’s just easier for them to get the customers pay for buffet which £50+ each night. It’s because of bad breakfast we don’t want to give it a try for dinner buffet. We needed to argued with reception to book us in, funny we only arrived in resort on the day, after we checked in we tried to book for dinner it was fulled until we checked out. The room beside us turned on music loudly at 7 am. We tried to use the app to contact reception no one responded and other messages as well, so idk why they bothered to ask us to download the app. Went to reception to report. They said they will let them know 5 pm still turn on music loudly! The last night we went to have dinner at Italian restaurant, almost finish starter I found a hair in my food, I told the lady she came but no apology just grap my plate and say she will check. 10 mins later a chef brought the new one out said sorry but I’m full and I almost finish the old one. So i denied to get it. But as 4 star resort and hospitality mindset is poor. We paid a lot of money but not worth it at all. Just only a view MALDIVES to keep us there till the last day
