A go to hotel when I'm in Boston. Newton is a suburb but you can be in Boston very quickly but no subway stations nearby. It's right over the Massachusetts turnpike (but I've never felt bothered by highway traffic noise) it's not in town but couldn't be closer to the highway that gets you into the city or directly to the airport. It's got a great bar connected called Social that has really good food and live music sometimes on weekends and another small, neighborhood style bar right across the street (Buff's Pub) that has solid pub food and some of the best wings in the Boston area. They will for sure have whichever Boston sports game on. Bar closes early though, maybe 11pm. A great pizza place and a few other restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance (and a Dunkin' Donuts). Service is always good, the pool is quite small but it exists and is old but clean. No gym. Breakfast is solid. Parking Garage too.

This hotel offers a standardized, industrialized experience, which I found to be excellent. The shared showers and restrooms, serving four rooms, were continuously cleaned by staff, which was also great. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the North Station train/bus station, and also a 20-minute walk from Boston Common/the start of the Freedom Trail. Chinatown is a 10-minute walk away. To get to Harvard University, it's a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste when staying at hotels in the US. The Revolution Hotel offers great value for money. Also, US hotel prices can fluctuate a lot, so it's important to book at the right time and make a quick decision. The older front desk woman had an intolerant attitude. It was quite distasteful. Luckily the younger Latina women in the evening/ overnight were friendly and hospitable.

The room is big, the facilities are new, there are many restaurants around, and it is close to highway 90, which is quite convenient.

The Somerville Cumbria Hotel boasts a prime location near Harvard University in Boston, easily accessible on foot or by taxi to the campus and surrounding commercial areas, making it convenient for travelers visiting the campus. Parking is available, but the $50 per night parking fee is relatively high, increasing the overall cost. Front desk service is responsive, and check-in and check-out are smooth, meeting the standards of a chain hotel. In summary, the hotel's location is its core advantage, but the facilities and parking costs detract from its overall value. It is suitable for travelers with specific location requirements and lower sensitivity to facilities and cost.

Although it is a bit old, the hotel feels good.

About a ten-minute walk from the subway station. It's not in the city center, but the distance to downtown is still acceptable. The air conditioning in the hotel was terrible. I arrived in late April and still needed the heating on. It was either scorching hot, with the room approaching 30 degrees Celsius, or not warm enough, only 19 degrees. When I asked the front desk staff, their solution was to restart the heating myself. However, after restarting, the heater made an incredibly loud noise, so much so that I needed earplugs to sleep.

Choosing this home, the price is OK, not too far from the city center, the room is a bit old, fairly clean and tidy. There is also an antique piano in the hall that can be played. The breakfast is worth mentioning, the stock is sufficient, and there is a machine for self-baked waffles and pancakes. The children like to roast and like it, eating a lot of cakes. It’s just a shop selling cars nearby, but there is a stop shop and a KFC. The next day I found out that I went to a nearby Chinese buffet. It’s very good!

citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much.

The hotel environment is good, the room is large and clean. Parking is convenient and no charge. It is also convenient to eat in the streets of the town, and there are also several Chinese restaurants not far away.
