Anonymous UserEven though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the rooms are cleaned promptly. The public areas are also quite nice. The check-in staff speak Korean and Chinese, and there are also Chinese-speaking staff available to answer questions. However, nearby dining options are a bit far and require a walk. The restaurants next to Lotte aren't very good and are a bit overpriced. The bread and desserts in the lobby are also delicious; if you go too late, some items are already sold out by locals, and they're not overly sweet. The red bean and chocolate ones are great, but the cream and butter sticks are just average. Getting to the beach requires going downhill, and due to the location, most hotels nearby have the same situation where you have to go down and then climb back up. Overall, it's good. Aside from not providing disposable toiletries, it's pretty much on par with hotels in Sanya, and the room rates aren't inflated.

Laon Hotel, a golf hotel near Hyeopjae Beach...
There is a breakfast restaurant and convenience store on the 1st floor, and the front desk is on the 3rd floor.
When I made the reservation, I was worried because the reviews mentioned that the facilities were quite old, but since I only planned to sleep there, I booked it based on value for money. It was cleaner than I expected, and the cleaning was good.
I particularly liked that the area around the hotel was quiet, had many palm trees, and was well-landscaped,
and the spaciousness of the room seems to be the best advantage.

Guest UserWhenever I visited Jeju before, I usually opted for accommodations near Baojian Road, as it's a livelier area for shopping and sightseeing. This time, I chose the Jeju Ocean Suite, which is located by the sea, close to shopping areas like Chilseong-ro and Dongmun Market. I booked a sea-view room, and overall, I was quite satisfied. Although it rained for several days and slightly affected the view, it was still very pleasant to sit by the window and watch the outside on a rainy day. The hotel staff were very polite and courteous. They provided two bottles of mineral water in the room daily. In line with environmental protection, the room doesn't offer disposable toiletries, so you need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. If you forget, you can buy them at the GS25 on the first floor, where they have both affordable and more expensive options. If I had to point out any downsides, I'd say the sofa in the room felt a bit old and saggy in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the disposable slippers provided in the room were a bit too thin.

Renate KatrineThe hotel is incredibly clean and the service is top notch. The direct view to the beach is absolutely unique and the pool area is super delicious.
The breakfast was excellent with a large selection and it was a huge plus to have free parking right at the door. Highly recommended!

Guest UserAlthough the facilities are 20 years old, they are very clean and there are 220V power outlets, which is convenient. The main room is also very large, and the 1.5-meter bed feels as big as a 1.8-meter bed in China, so even a family of four with older children would be perfectly fine. Aside from only having breakfast for two, everything else is great. Plus, there's a bakery in the hotel lobby where you can buy pastries, and a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby, which is super convenient.

The breakfast menu was great. There are cracked floor tiles, wall tiles, damaged wall, fridge and freezer door unable to close properly. Toilet doors unable to close fully. But overall, still acceptable for stay.

The room is spacious enough for two adults and two children. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. There's also a kids' playground and a Nintendo Switch, so both adults and children will be happy.

cnphoebeWe are a little disappointed by our stay, particularly given the price tag. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel looked beautiful, but we weren’t too happy with our room. We had booked an ondol room with 3 futons and we were given 1 double futon and 1 not prepared. Staff were very quick to address our request, though it did take a couple of attempts for the room staff to understand what we meant (they then unrolled the mattress but still prepare a double). Finally when they gave us the correct configuration as in the app (3 separate futons), these were sloppily unrolled and thrown on the floor. We had a lovely stay otherwise but our initial welcome didn’t really feel fitting of a 5 star hotel where we had paid 150 USD for a room. I mentioned this to the staff at check out but they didn’t seem too bothered.

In Jeju's most peaceful village, with the majestic Baksugijeong Pavilion to your side and a peaceful harbor ahead, and the most beautiful coastline on the Olle Trail, especially in the mornings, dolphins occasionally show up to delight you.
This is a small gem of a place nestled in a truly lovely village. I often travel to business hotels, but it's rare to find a place that offers such a relaxing and restful stay.
The cozy room has everything you need, is extremely clean, and the bedding is firm and cozy. The lovely garden and the ocean beyond the window overlook the desk. The tranquility of a book is endless, and the warmth of those who have passed through the house makes the room even warmer.
The loving owners, with their refined hospitality, and the owner's homemade bread and the owner's marmalade are worth the all-night chat.
I plan to visit again when I visit Jeju for business or pleasure.
I had a wonderful rest.

ReefurjiangThe environment here is beautiful, with palm trees and shadows everywhere. Step outside and you're right on the coast. There's also an 'Olle' trail behind the hotel; if you walk along it, you'll find a charming Honeymoon House where you can enjoy a coffee – very pleasant! The large lawn is starting to turn green, making it perfect for photos. Although the hotel is a bit older and shows some age, it makes up for it with its cleanliness, especially the spotless bedding! My only minor complaint is that the hotel assigned me a lower floor, so I couldn't enjoy a panoramic view.
For transportation, you can take bus 600 directly from the airport, which goes from the first stop to the last, taking over an hour and a half. If you want to use other transport, you'll need to walk 15-20 minutes to find it. This hotel is really more suitable for those who are driving or taking taxis, and it seems popular with Korean locals looking for a relaxing, laid-back getaway.
Overall, for a beachfront hotel, it offers excellent value for money. I absolutely love the garden design and the swimming pool, though it appeared to be closed during my visit.
