Stayed here for a night and it was alright for the price. The room was pretty basic but clean enough, and the staff were friendly which helped. It does feel a bit old and you can hear some noise, but for a quick, cheap stay it’s perfectly fine.

My 2nd time staying here. Service and environment beautiful. Set in the grounds of university of Birmingham. Very peaceful as not of a public road. Staff are very friendly, decor has a Scandinavian feel. Food is reasonably priced.

Nive tavern style room with tea and coffee making facilities, above a friendly bar, good access to digbeth businesses. Very nice and helpful staff.

I booked Hillscourt for 2 nights to attend my brothers funeral, unfortunately I had an accident while I was here and had to stay another night. The care I had from the staff was excellent they couldn’t have done more for me, even bringing me breakfast in bed! Highly recommend, the personal care and kindness was  second to none and I shall definitely stay here again!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed at this hotel. Whenever there’s a room available, it’s always my first choice in Coventry. The location is perfect — right inside the University of Warwick, just a 10-minute drive from the city centre. It offers free parking

Arrived early - 40 minutes - asked if possible to check in. Told to wait ten minutes and then told ok. Went to room and not ready. Housekeeping not aware but did say they'd do our room quickly. No problem. Just wanted to use loo and would come back later. Returned much later. Room ready and clean. Bedroom bin had not been emptied. Very noisy from traffic through the night. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast pretty poor. Hot offering sparse and cold. Continental limited. Staff were very pleasant which was lovely and probably made up for the shortcomings. Would choose somewhere quieter, ideally.

Lovely staffs, It felt warm when a staff greeted me in the morning with a bright smile, the room was tidy in the morning when I got back. Room very clean, toilet and bath was clean as well. Had no concerns felt very safe. I would definitely recommend to use. Rooms are big and convenient.

I arrived on Saturday afternoon and spent the evening, then left on the Sunday morning. The weather is hot in May due to the heatwave but thankfully there is a fan in the room to keep the room cool at nighttime. The bed is large (for two people) and the room is spacious. The bathroom is a bit dated but the facilities are working just fine. The WiFi was only partially working which is unfortunate. You can see some buildings and the rooftop of the Pool Meadow Bus Station outside of the window and the scenery is nothing to write home to. However, the hotel is very close to the main tourist attractions in Coventry City Centre.

The room was pretty quiet. I stayed on the basement level, so there was no window, but since I was only there for one night to sleep, it didn't bother me. The bedding and bathroom were very clean, and there was a door curtain. The bed was quite soft. Having the toilet and shower right in the room was very convenient. There was also a full-length mirror and a vanity table in the room. The front desk offered free, very fresh lemonade! However, my bedside lamp was broken and hadn't been repaired; it squeaked all night, which really affected my sleep. I've told them and hope it gets fixed soon.

Beautiful grounds. Thankfully the heating in the room works. There are however no lifts and the way to the rooms from reception is confusing. But nice staff, and Sherelle at the restaurant who was our waitress was amazing and thoughtful and made sure my team and I were well looked after.
