PPangdabengdaThe hotel is easily visible after crossing the pedestrian bridge from Sendai Station. There's a large Don Quijote duty-free shop right across the street. They offer complimentary afternoon tea and a happy hour, and the breakfast includes Sendai's famous beef tongue and fish cakes.

GGuest UserA very nice and convenient hotel. About 8 min walk from sendai main station. The hotel entrance along the road can bit a bit of challenge to find but just keep a eye on it. The room is large and spacious by japanese standard. I did not try the breakfast but they provide free starbuck coffee at lounge from 1400 to 2200hrs. Would be good if they can change that hrs to morning onwards. They provide two type of pillows, one hard and one soft..which is good.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Sendai is extremely friendly to international travelers. One of the staff members can speak Chinese, which was incredibly helpful for us. She assisted us with many things during our stay and helped arrange luggage storage before check-in, making everything very smooth and convenient.
The room is also slightly larger compared to many hotels in Japan, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is excellent as well — it is very close to Sendai Station, and there are supermarkets and many shops nearby, making it very convenient.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and there is really nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Sendai.

Reception is helpful even though we arrived at 11am, she helped to store our luggages snd gave full explanation.
Close to Sendai station but aware of losing direction so be sure to ask local for direction first when heading to hotel.
Breakfast is excellent and those ladies worked in the canteen were professional.
Quiet and sleep well.
Lots of amenities were placed near the elevator at G/F.
Lucky that day were sunny so using the Loople bus to get around but the next day (4/Apr/2026

SShejianshangdejiasitingFacilities: From the hotel lobby to the rooms, everything felt comfortable, elegant, and grand.
Environment: It's a convenient 5-10 minute walk from Sendai Station, and there's a 7-Eleven right on the first floor. Plus, the famous Gyutan (beef tongue) restaurant, Zenjirou, is right next door. Sendai Morning Market is also just around the corner.
Service: The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast service was top-notch.

AAhmad MostafaReception at 5 pm was efficient and I didn’t have to wait. Street level provides access to two lifts that take you to the second floor reception area.
Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather. Rooms are not huge but adequate size. I booked a larger room of which there are a few.
House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided. The two lifts can be slow especially during busy times such as morning checking out.
The location is good being about 15 minutes walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc. The hotel is five minutes walk to the covered main shopping mall-street which are common in Japan. There are major shopping malls in the central train station area.
There are also many nearby restaurants that should suit most people’s budget and type of food. Beef tongue is a specialty in Sendai and many restaurants offer it at various prices.
Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30 minutes of the hotel such as temples and museums.
Overall a pleasant stay and happy to visit again.

IIris Kim Choo TanI had an excellent stay at Sendai Washington Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making for a very pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to settle in quickly. One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which offered both a separate shower area and a bathtub, giving guests the option of a quick shower or a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily return.
If there is one area for improvement, it would be the furnishings in the room. I would have preferred a proper work desk instead of the small coffee table provided, as it would have been more practical for guests who need a comfortable space to work, write, or organize their travel plans.
The location was another highlight of our stay. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Sendai Station, making it extremely convenient for travellers. The area around the station offers a wide range of amenities, including restaurants, cafes, local markets, shopping malls, and the bus terminal. We also boarded the Loople Sendai sightseeing bus from the terminal, which was a great way to explore and get an overview of the city's main attractions.

I came too early, because of my train from Tokyo (around 1.30 pm) and i need to wait until 3 pm for check in. Beds ready, clean ready...but need to waiting the check in time..and it'fair isn't. The only problem was they start check in process 5-7 mins before 3 pm and they was very slowly and not professional...my time for check in it was 3.15 pm if not more...one of the last check in there. And this happened especialy because one disrespectful girl, she was determined to delay the proceedings—even more than others already had. Ugly and disrespectful attitude, make me lose time everytime..she had and fun about this when i explain her i not appreciateher jokes.
She, as well as all the others, either doesn't know how to speak English or doesn't want to... just simple words, like ”key.”
I expected more from one hotel (or hostel) in Japan.
I was disappointed with the choice of this hostel.
It is very difficult to find the hotel without help, as its name is written only in Japanese. The bed is very hard; it feels like sitting or sleeping on a wooden plank.

YyukeyThe room was not bad, the service was very good, the standard Japanese-style economy hotel, Japanese-style service, would not disappoint. Surrounded by residential areas, it is quiet. Although it is a little far from Sendai Railway Station, I have walked past it. It is fine to go.
