We had a pleasant stay at the Skybay Hotel. The ocean view from our corner room was spectacular and well worth it. My girlfriend accidentally left her iPad in the room after we checked out, and the hotel staff were very professional and responsible in helping us coordinate the international shipping back to Malaysia. We appreciate their honesty and efficient assistance. Highly recommended for the service and the location.

I have stayed here before to hike Seoraksan. This time, I had a nicer room; however, because it is near the mountains and older, there was a huge house centipede on the ceiling when I got there. Luckily, the bug spray they had worked on it. Other than that, there were some small stains on the bedding, but everything else was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the location is about 55 minutes walking distance from Seoraksan National Park. It's only about an 8 minute taxi drive there if not too much traffic. There is a beautiful river/stream nearby. This place is also only about a 16 minute drive from the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. Obviously, I like this place enough to stay again. Breakfast was toast, cereal, and you could make eggs/a toast sandwich I believe.

Nice hotel well situated by the night market, Abai Village and Rodeo Drive. Easy to walk around and explore. The rooms was well kept with no issues. Only downside was lack of parking. They will try to accommodate you so you won't be stuck, but was inconvenient.

The Sun Cruise Hotel is my top choice. This is my second time visiting and staying here. The hotel has a great beach view, and you can watch both sunset and sunrise. Location-wise, it's excellent – just 10 minutes from Jeongdongjin Station. It's a great place to relax and escape the hustle of Seoul city life 👍. However, the service at the front desk was a bit disappointing. I understand there may be language barriers, and I used Papago translation to communicate in Korean, but they still seemed unw welcoming to us as foreigners. They simply answered ”no” to my question without offering alternative suggestions. As front desk staff, they should provide other options or suggestions to hotel guests instead of just saying ”no” and ending the conversation.

Really enjoyed my stay at Kensington hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Nearby restaurants closed early, so I had to have hotel dinner (not bad). Hotel is situated near Seoraksan entrance (walking distance). Absolutely stunning view of the mountain! Hotel's concept is intriguing!!

My wife and I came here to go snowboarding. It's an older condo, but it's clean and comfortable, and we had a comfortable stay. It was a bit noisy and banging during the university orientation period, but we were so slept like we were passed out after snowboarding all day that I didn't notice it. The room rates seem reasonable during the off-season.

The room was new, very clean, and spacious, with a small private terrace. Overall, it was great, but the room didn't have universal power outlets, which was quite inconvenient as I didn't bring an adapter. The bathroom was nice, but the lights were under the mirror, making it less convenient to use. Also, the hotel is located on a hillside. It's easy to walk down, but going back up, it's best to take a taxi as it's quite a distance, and carrying luggage would be a real test of stamina. The lobby on the first floor is very upscale, with decor similar to a high-star hotel. There's also a convenience store on the first floor, which makes it easy to buy things.

Great stay if you are heading to the resort for snowboarding, hourly shuttle bus to the ski resort however staff only have minimal English so hard to communicate and there isn't kakao taxi so it's very hard to call for a taxi, would suggest staying at the ski resort itself If you want to go to the casino.

No tea bags or coffee sachets provided, which is a bit weird.  Water pressure for shower is way too weak.  No room cleaning services, leaving alone having your new towels put outside your room in the morning. Only 4 lifts serving way too many hotel stayers, resulting in long waiting lines and thus, time.  Views are magnificient however.  The room is so massive and the balconies are spacious.

EEEErikaaaTraveling with a 2-year-old child It was nice that there was a children's playground, an indoor pool, and a large hot spring bath. The child was very satisfied. The dinner buffet had delicious snow crab and sashimi. There were various activities on site, as well as a convenience store, restaurant, and cafe, so we could enjoy ourselves all day at the resort. About 20 cm of snow fell in the middle of the night, but the staff worked hard to shovel it away, which was great. There were mats laid in the pool to prevent slipping, but they were not all over the place, so the tiled parts were slippery, so please be careful if you have small children. I asked for bed guards when I checked in, but they never came to install them.

GGuest UserHotel is clean and fun. Our family enjoy much. They have treasure hut and uncountable lego blocks in the room. My girl loves this hotel the most in the whole Seoul trip. My girl enjoyed the little game in room, the swimming pool, a small warm pool, indoor children playground very very much! For car parking, we followed the naver map arrive the hotel. When we got there, they didnt allow us to park in front of the hotel, and we need to drive back to their specific parking area, and took shuttle bus back to the hotel again. This action wasted us an hour to go and back, and even waited around 30mins for check in. If they allow us to put down the luggage and do check-in first, and park the car later, that would be much better. It is sad for the 1st impression. And I found the locals would ask the staff to park their car for them to the specific car park. How come this could not be the same to foreign guests? One more is not good about the dinner buffet. This was paid, W90000. When we got there after swim, around 8-8:30pm, the food left not much. But they close at 9:30pm. They refill slowly slowly.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was clean and the parking lot was spacious, which was nice. The bed was so comfortable, I think it was latex, and I slept like a log. The floor was low, so I could hear some traffic noise even with the windows closed, but I slept soundly and it was fine. The breakfast was also good. I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI had a very comfortable stay for three nights in Gangneung, thanks to how clean and well-maintained the accommodation was. The breakfast was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day, and I especially appreciated the sense of space, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting around was easy whether by bus or taxi, and the location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions like Ojukheon and Jungang Market. For those travelling by car, the spacious parking area is definitely a big plus. There’s also a lovely pine forest path just behind the property, perfect for a quiet stroll. The ocean view from the room really added to the holiday atmosphere, and being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of staying at Shilla Monogram.

AAlbert0 travellerThe hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of Gangneung, not close to the main centers of interest of many tourists. The hotel itself is quite new and modern and clean. The check-in is not open until 4pm, however you can self check-in earlier on a kiosk for an additional cost. I really appreciated the possibility to do a laundry for free, in my case it was needed. The bathroom is equipped with smart toilet which is nice. A complete Korean breakfast is offered in the morning. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and cafes

IIeja LizahWe stayed at Mona YongPyong – Bliss Hill Stay 🏔️ The place was very strategic and convenient. Just below our hostel was the YongPyong Bus Station, and right next to it was Mona Park Ski Resort ❄️🎿 We also enjoyed halal food at Efes Kebab, which made our stay even more memorable 🍽️🤍 We will definitely come back again next time!

GGuest UserWhile clean, the room was much smaller than I anticipated. Check-in took an incredibly long time; I waited for three hours! They claimed to be following check-in numbers sent via KakaoTalk, but this wasn't actually the case. Someone making a lot of complaints was prioritized, and the whole situation was just chaotic. The room was surprisingly small and looked nothing like the photos. I was assigned to Building A, but the pictures on Trip.com were completely different from the room I received (I suspect they were of Buildings B and C). I initially wondered if the hotel had given me the wrong room, but upon re-examining the photos, the very last one did seem to be of Building A. Honestly, I feel deceived, having chosen the room based solely on those initial, misleading pictures. The swimming pool also incurs an additional charge of 80,000 KRW per person (I didn't use the pool). There's a bakery area, and its lobby is so close to the pool that everything is visible from there. While waiting for check-in, I had coffee in the lobby, and it felt rather awkward seeing people in their swimsuits so close by. Breakfast is divided into two time slots, so you must arrive at your allocated time. The coffee service, where staff pour it for you, was also quite inconvenient. Normally, one would get coffee from a self-service machine, but here there's a dedicated 'coffee zone' where you have to place an order with staff. When there's a queue, you end up waiting with your food in hand, which is truly inconvenient. And the coffee wasn't even exceptionally delicious. Despite having three staff members at the coffee zone, the whole process felt incredibly inefficient. The breakfast food itself, however, was tasty. Oh, and a quick note: Netflix isn't available in the rooms, haha. I honestly think the Lotte Resort, where I previously stayed, is far superior. Their rooms are much more spacious, the pool is complimentary, and it definitely has a more luxurious vibe. Breakfast at Lotte is also tastier, in my personal opinion (and you *can* watch Netflix there!). To sum up, Cassia offers breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was varied and delicious! However, I feel they haven't made effective use of the hotel's interior space. It's genuinely vast, and as you wander, you encounter tables, uncomfortable chairs, and very large art books on display, but it all feels a bit forced and out of place. I never felt like sitting down and relaxing on the chairs, which were also uncomfortable. The overall interior design felt somewhat unkempt and disjointed. It's a shame such a large space wasn't utilized more thoughtfully. Next time, I'll probably opt for Lotte Resort over Cassia.

LLeia K.The Orchid Hotel was everything and more as described on their website and the reviews. I stayed in the superior room with 1 king bed which was very comfortable. The air conditioner is adjustable to your preference. The hotel was very clean, spacious, very friendly staff (24hr lobby staff)and in the perfect location. They provided robes, slippers, 2 bottled waters, clean towels daily. The bathroom has a bidet which is separate from the shower area. They also have a pot to heat water instantly and they provide coffee and camomile tea bags. There was a large desk area in this room and a large television. The location is right across the street from a large shopping mall that also has restaurants and walking distance to Musil (restaurants, cinema, shopping). They do have a pool and has pizza and beer every evening at rooftop bar. All your needs are very close to this hotel. The bus terminal is ~6 minutes walking distance and train is ~ 10 minute taxi ride. Approximately 2 miles is the outdoor market (food/shopping). Considerations: make sure to bring international chargers, translate app and if get Wow pass can top up with cash at 7/11 or CU. I did make several attempts to top up on Wow pass app with credit card and was having difficulty. The bus terminal and taxi’s accept international visa credit card. The bus terminal does not accept T card. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to the staff and cleanliness.
