Hotels With breakfast in Drenthe, Netherlands

We had a great stay! Rooms spacious and clean, I had asked for additional facilities and these were quite present. Shared dinner was from art and breakfast was varied. Only the multigrain bread had not come, both the baked and scrambled eggs and the bacon were unfortunately not really hot. Also the fork was not yet at cheese, chicken et al. And the cakes were still covered with film, and there were no tangs, while three staff were sitting at a table at the entrance to talk and laugh, so there was time before. But despite this: absolute advisor, these were just the little points on the I.  Location is perfect for a visit to Wildlands and you're also walking in the city. Parking day card € 12.50, so a little higher than on the website.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only 800 meters away from the railway station. Behind the hotel is the commercial street in the city center. The staff of the hotel are very nice. The lobby is small and stylish. It's all good.

Perfect room, large and clean. Lovely bathroom. Balcony with a view of a small park. Ideal if you need to stay a night/day in Assen. Cozy bar and excellent restaurant.

The hotel has an elegant environment, and each guest is greeted with a cup of coffee and chocolate upon check-in, a truly warm touch. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a comfortable mattress. The room comes with an all-you-can-eat coffee machine, and each floor also has an all-you-can-eat coffee machine, various teas, and an ice machine. While the breakfast selection is limited, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. Highly recommended. Thank you to every staff member for their hard work. I will stay here again when I visit Giethoorn.

The hotel is very good, that is, after paying for the booking with Ctrip, the hotel attendant said that we need to pay when we checked out. He obviously chose to pay online, and contacted the customer service customer service and said that you can pay first, and you can push it to us later. Isn’t this matter? Should it be handled in advance? I feel bad experience on Ctrip

Goed hotel, vriendelijke ontvangst, eten in orde, bedden ok, schoonmaak ok. Wel wat problemen met deurslot en de afvoer van de douche was niet goed

The hotel was very friendly and attentive and the cold-stay bathroom radiator was quickly remedied. If you want to have breakfast earlier than the standard starting time of 7:30, you can make a breakfast package or they can make what is going on. A little bit of the facilities is due to maintenance of the CV installation (in the middle of winter?) which was a little noisy over the day. Good lunch and dinner card with enough choice. Currently (feb.2026) 2 working EV car loaders, but 2 additional loaders are being worked on.

Compared to the other van der valk hotels, the hotel rooms in the new building, called comfort deluxe, are all top. Modern smart TV, bathroom, better sound isolation, etc.

Nice and good hotel in a good location

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk Turks stoombad en sauna en fijn zwembad. Familiekamer ruim, afgescheiden door glazen deur waardoor het voelt als twee kamers (met elkaar in verbinding) beide gedeelte hebben eigen toilet, waarvan één in de badkamer en één apart. Aanrader!
