I had a long layover in Istanbul and needed to stay a night outside the airport. I booked this hotel through Trip.com and it was excellent value for money. While the facilities are a bit dated, its proximity to the airport, just a 10-minute drive, is a huge plus. The hotel offers airport transfers for 20 Euros one way, which is super convenient if you have an early flight – just book the shuttle in advance. The 20 Euro fee applies regardless of whether it's one adult or an adult and a child, as was our case. The restaurant across from the hotel is very authentic and reasonably priced, unlike the inflated prices you find in the city center.
I stayed at this airport hotel near Sabiha Gökçen for an expensive pric. While the location is convenient and the room was generally clean, there were several operational issues that should be addressed.
Upon check-in, the shower pipe in my room was faulty. The staff promptly arranged for a technician, which I appreciate. However, this indicates that rooms may not be thoroughly checked before guest arrival. A simple pre-check process could prevent such inconvenience.
There were also no facial tissues provided in either the room or bathroom. This is a very basic amenity that most travelers expect, particularly at this price level.
In addition, the hotel does not offer a coin laundry facility. For an airport hotel that likely serves transit guests, this would be a highly practical addition.
The staff were responsive when contacted, and I appreciated the availability of slippers in the room. However, improving basic quality control and ensuring essential amenities are consistently provided would significantly enhance the guest experience.
I hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.
I have stayed at Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul City Center several times before, and each time I have had the same level of satisfaction.
The hotel’s location is very central and convenient for transportation. The service quality, cleanliness, and overall organization are truly commendable. The rooms are always very clean, and the hygiene standards are consistently high.
The breakfast is rich and delicious, making for a great start to the day.
Most importantly, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made my stay even more special. I was welcomed with the same level of care each time. I would like to thank all the staff, and especially Mr. Can for his professionalism and kind assistance.
This is a hotel I have chosen many times and will continue to choose in the future. I can confidently recommend it.

PProtoproff, Honest review.2026.04.10
I booked this hotel based on other reviews. After staying at the hotel we were rather disappointed!
So I will be honest no detailed.
Firstly the state of the bathroom was poor , mould and bloated vanity unit. The toilet seat was broken.Shower area mouldy see pics. An unmarked dispenser of either shower gel or shampoo, cheap and poor. No other toiletries supplied other than cheap commercial soap.
There is no kettle or tea/coffee provided in rooms nor is any bottled water supplied.
The room was quite musty and aircon output was mediocre. Simply put room was poor but the location was fantastic , 10 mins walk away from the Blue mosque and about 15-18mins to Topkapi palace.
Breakfast was hot and miss no eggs or cereal on first day nor was any fruit provided. Breakfast menu is poor and inconsistent, mainly catered around turkish pallette , you'd think they'd cater a bit better considering virtually all guests were foreign.
The front desk reception folk were good especially Fatima, whom with we had good banter, and she recommended some places to visit.
Overall don't expect much other than a worn bed and shower at this hotel and enjoy the sites all within walking distance.
Would I stay here again , NO will look elsewhere.
Owner really needs to focus on bringing the standard up and possibly charging more ,which would have meant repeat custom from me, definitely not a three star however that's based on a Turkish scale. Oh and the lift says 4 persons but only three sticklebacks allowed. The roof top terrace is cafeteria, separate, but you feel compelled to purchase as the staff approach you.
The location was the only saving grace and all the cute friendly cats roaming around everywhere.
This hotel is very nice for your budget it like 90 RM for a night the room is very big i dint expect the room is big like 5 atar hotel for me as solo traveller it was very comfortable. For who stay only for airport i recommended stay at here if u like using public transport like bus it was easy H-6 to airport u need just walk a liitle more to a middle street it more easier to spot a bus over there.
👍👍👍👍👍
Only the area just nothing but u can get a convienence store nearby

The staff are incredibly friendly, and the whole place is spotless. They offer a light breakfast, and tea and coffee are available anytime. The in-room internet works perfectly. The room is small, but it has everything you need. The location is convenient, and the price is good. Overall, I'm very satisfied! I'll definitely be back :)

The hotel's location is great. It's about a 3-5 minute walk to the T1 tram or bus stop, making it super convenient to get to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Galata Bridge, the Walls of Constantinople, and Balat district. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby where you can get a rich Turkish meal for around 60 CNY per person, which is a huge difference from tourist area prices – really good value! The view from my 2nd-floor room wasn't great; the window faced an alley, which was different from my request for a higher floor with a good view (I guess the room availability didn't allow for it). Breakfast was decent and quite varied. The only downside is that I booked a room for three people, but for both nights, only two sets of bottled water and towels were provided. That's a definite минус.
We had an excellent experience with this hotel from beginning to end.
The transfer service was absolutely outstanding. They sent a beautiful luxury limousine for the airport pickup, and the driver was extremely professional, respectful, and kind. Communication and guest support were excellent at every stage, and the staff cooperated with us very professionally.
One of the best points was the flexibility and convenience of payment for both the hotel and transfer service directly at the property, which made everything much easier for us.
The hotel itself was very clean, elegant, and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and perfectly maintained. We were honestly very impressed with the cleanliness and overall quality of the hotel.
The food was also excellent, fresh, and delicious.
In addition, the airport drop-off service was perfectly organized and arrived exactly at the scheduled time without any delay.
Overall, everything was perfect. Professional service, excellent support, beautiful rooms, outstanding transportation service, and a very comfortable stay.
Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

A surprise package with an adventure factor!
The room itself was clean and visually appealing – a good start. However, things got 'creative' afterwards: I had booked a 'courtyard view,' but upon arrival, I was told I'd reserved a room without a window. They generously offered me a 'great, free upgrade,' accompanied by an explicit request to highlight this positively in my review.
This adventurous upgrade, however, came with a complete power and Wi-Fi outage. My phone died, and planning my route for the next day became impossible. Since elevators, as we know, have a fondness for electricity, I had the athletic opportunity to exit the hotel on foot once the emergency lighting in the stairwell kicked in.
The minimalism continued with the culinary offerings: The advertised breakfast turned out to be a solitary chai tea bag and a paper cup for preparation in the room. Solid food – contrary to the hotel description – was nowhere to be found. If you enjoy guessing what's coming next in the dark, this is the perfect place for you. Personally, when booking, I prefer a certain level of predictability.
Although the rooms are on the smaller side, the atmosphere is really lovely. All of the staff are extremely helpful — especially Uğur, Eren, Sadullah, and the rest of the hotel team, who are all very friendly and welcoming.
The location is excellent, with easy access to all parts of Istanbul. Taksim Square is about a 20-minute walk, and you can also reach it easily by metro. In addition, the metro provides direct access to both Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Atatürk Airport, which is very convenient.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience — truly a great place to stay. I would definitely choose to stay at the same hotel again on my next visit.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, comfortable room, pleasant staff, full breakfast.
XXiaowen31Pros:
1. The breakfast offers a mix of traditional Turkish breakfast and Western options, with a great variety of cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. Although the room is small, it's very tidy and clean. It gets cleaned daily, and the bed sheets are changed every day.
3. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Yedikule Fortress and Marble Tower, and only an 8-minute walk to the sea.
4. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with schools, making it very quiet.
5. The hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast and never lags.
Areas for improvement:
1. It would be great if there was an airport shuttle service.
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet.
The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless.
We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing.
The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue.
Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends
GGuiBoThe hotel, room and staff are great!
There is something that honestly brothered me.
Anything bought at the hotel bar had a 10% mandatory service charge.
And this 10% does NOT go to the empoles who are there serving, but to the hotel company.
Does not seem fair
AA.Twiceit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people.
Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport.
Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)
GGuest UserThe two single beds pushed together worked perfectly for our family of three. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old city, just a few tram stops from Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. My husband even used points to upgrade our room, which was a bit more spacious. The hotel also gifted us some desserts – Turkish desserts are truly amazing! The decor has a very opulent, vintage palace style, great for photos. If you love a grand, luxurious aesthetic, you should definitely check this place out.
NNztommyI met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul.
They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.
LLouisa WallaceThe hotel is really nice and room is so comfortable and clean. The hotel has a good selection of restaurants to try Turkish or Italian food, as well as yummy room service. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in walking distance to a beautiful palace and art gallery, as well as the tram which gives easy access to the attractions of the city. Highly recommend!
WWoshibaoherongyeLet me break down my review:
**Pros:**
1. The staff were excellent. They were proactive in their communication, and every time I returned, they'd actively stand up and greet me with a ”HOW ARE YOU.”
2. The front desk staff were also very helpful when I asked for directions.
3. The room was clean, the carpet showed no signs of dirt, and after cleaning, they would spray a fragrance, so there were no unpleasant odors.
4. We arrived an hour early, and they allowed us to check in after waiting just 20 minutes.
**Cons:**
1. The toilet seat was broken. I was already very tired, and since we had checked in early, I didn't ask for a room change. However, it was really inconvenient because it moved around while I was using it.
2. The complimentary drinking water provided was just a small cup; other hotels usually offer bottled water.
3. The curtains were too narrow and couldn't close properly (you can see in the pictures). I even had to pull and stick them together myself, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep well (as I'm sensitive to light).
4. There's a house renovation project going on downstairs, and there was a lot of noise even at 10:30 PM. Closing the window helped a lot, but it was still loud. So, if you don't like noisy city areas, be aware ⚠️.
5. The breakfast was the simplest I've had in Turkey. As you can see in the pictures, the egg pancake was an extra charge, so I didn't order it. But it might have been really cheap, which explains it.
Overall, while the price was affordable, when you're traveling, you truly realize how important comfort is once you've stayed somewhere. So, next time, I will choose a place with a better environment.
GGuest Userthe guy at the reception is a gem , he is a very nice person, helpful and very professional. The room was big enough, very clean and have a view on the bosphore. very close to the tram station Cemberlitas. i will be back for my next trip to Istambul.
