"The hotel is right by the sea. It's a maximum 20-minute walk to the Old Town, or you can take a hand-rowed boat from the lighthouse near the hotel entrance (2 euros per ride) directly to the Old Town walls. The rooms are very new. The rooms facing the front don't have balconies but are directly opposite the sea with two windows, offering excellent light. Some side rooms face the sea but have different viewing angles, though generally still offer a view. Other rooms don't have a sea view. Daria at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and gave us a lot of help. Even though I had a small issue, with her assistance, I easily found a solution. Many, many thanks to her! Zadar is definitely worth a visit."

"We booked a private room with double bed and private bathroom. The location is in the middle of the old town, very crowded. There is a restaurant just below with loud talking, laughing and music so you need to keep the window shut at all time. The customers from the restaurant is not friendly and rude, who will stare at you like you don't belong in their fancy and overpriced dinner. The laudry room is very expensive. The facilities are new but the experience is not pleasant."

"The annex building is some distance from the front desk, and the front desk brother will help carry the luggage to the room. Breakfast needs to go back to the restaurant next to the front desk to eat The hotel is located in the center of Split Old Town, about 5 minutes walk from the sea organ, not far from other old town attractions If you drive by yourself, when you arrive at the hotel, you can hand over the car key to the front desk. The front desk brother will valet parking, parking fee 13 euros a day. The location is quite excellent, recommended for a short stay!"

"Check in was simple and welcoming,the hotel were very good for responding to email inquiries both the restaurant and hotel. I had ordered gluten free options for breakfast for my husband and whilst there were plenty of choices of cheese, vegetable,eggs and fruit I was disappointed that there were no sweet options merely white gf bread ,not a big deal but would have been nice to have muffins or similar. The rooms are small but once you have organized yourself it's ok,we were able to manage with 2 smaller suitcase but not sure where we would have stored larger cases.Plenty of shower gel, conditioner etc. Rooms serviced daily. Staff were pleasant and professional."

"It is a homestay, you need to contact the landlord before you check in. There is a phone at the door, you can call, but the other party speaks Croatian, and finally found the little brother in the bar next to it to help answer the phone. It is best to contact the email in advance to inform the check-in time, otherwise you need to wait. The landlord was very nice and introduced the nearby attractions and dining in detail. The room is also very beautiful, with a microwave and refrigerator. In the old city, taxis cannot be reached directly and need to take a short walk. Need to climb the stairs, please be cautious if the box is too big."

超級推薦，不但位置就在老城區，離各個景點也都不遠，設備很新也都很齊全。 冰箱裡面還有水跟一整瓶的果汁，茶包種類超級豐富。如果不想吃餐廳在這邊也有廚房可以煮，附近就有很多超市也有傳統市場。 浴室乾濕分離，還有花灑蓮蓬頭，有地暖也有乾衣架，去玩水回來都有地方可以晾。 隔音算是很不錯，就在大街上但在房間基本上聽不到聲音，枕頭很大很好睡，空調也很新。 桌上有旅遊資訊，在抽屜還有ok蹦，真的很貼心 如果有人來這裡玩絕對會推薦這間！！

It was a pleasant stay with all the staff been friendly and thanks to the young lady in the breakfast room. She ran the wholebreakfat on her own, always smiling and having nice things to say. The hotel is lucky to have such good staff. The young girl at reception was equally friendly and insisted on carrying our bags up a flight of stairs. She explained everything about the hotel and things to see in Zadar.

On the way there at first, it was a bit difficult to find the hotel after going around in circles. After arriving and checking in, the boss was very welcoming. The room facilities were very new and high-end. The environment was super good and very comfortable.

In the old town of Zadar, the location is very convenient. It is a hotel apartment remodeled from an old house. The design is very good and modern, and it is comfortable to live in. Wandering in the alleys of the old city at night, wandering back after dinner, opening the door with the key, it feels like going back to my own home. It feels great. We drove here by car. The car can be parked outside the city and it is only a few minutes' walk away. recommend!

The hotel is in a prefect location which is just 5 min walking distance away from the beach which you can swim and enjoy sunshine. If you like to go for sightseeing. The old town is about 25 minutes walking distance from the hotel. One extra advantage is that a big supermarket Interspar is only 3 min walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is well managed and you can see from the details that the management has tried his very best to make a prefect stay for his clients. It is highly recommended.

Advantages: The front desk lady is very good, there is no elevator to help carry the suitcase, breakfast is quite rich, parking is free. Disadvantages: Compared with our Chinese people, we do not recommend this homestay. The hardware facilities are poor. I asked the front desk for the sheets. The shower room is too small, there is no place to put things, and it is difficult to turn around. The room is old and simple.

It’s really small… The bathroom is very cramped, and there’s no space to unpack, so I had to organize my things out in the hallway. The top bunk bed was hard to climb up to — it looked nice in design but felt a bit unsafe. However, the location is great, right in the center of the main attractions, so it definitely saves time for sightseeing.

The Hotel Donat offers a very fair deal with an excellent price-performance ratio. The rooms are a little old. However, they are very clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. The food is down-to-earth and tasty. There is always a large selection of freshly prepared dishes. You can easily walk to the city center of Zadar. The approximately 4 km long route follows the coast and is pleasant to walk. There are several bus stops nearby. You can reach the hotel from the city on lines 5 and 8. I would love to come back!

The hotel itself was not in the centre but it’s closer to the airport which we wanted exactly. The food was good and we had a good variety of meals. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good looking but it would benefit from a fridge in the summer time. Overall everything was good.
