The 11th Kauai Chocolate & Coffee Festival is a grand celebration of chocolate and coffee! This event is a charitable initiative of the Kara Foundation. The event is partially sponsored by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and supported through its Community Enrichment Program. Other sponsors include the Hawaii Chocolate and Cocoa Association and the Hawaii Special Events Organization. The Kala Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Hawaiian culture, language, hula, mere, and spiritual heritage. It organizes and promotes various events in Hawaii. Since its inception, the Kala Foundation has been committed to organizing authentic cultural events aimed at preserving Hawaiian culture.

The Volcano Arts Center (VAC), located on the Kilauea volcano, is dedicated to the promotion and perpetuation of arts and culture. The vibrant location inspires a passion to share authentic Hula Kahiko performances and other hula arts and traditions. VAC, with support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority's Kukulu Ola program, is proud to announce free events to promote and perpetuate Native Hawaiian arts and culture. On the second Saturday of each month, join the Volcano Arts Center for a free, live hula performance. Performances are presented in an authentic outdoor setting, rain or shine, without electronic amplification. The Volcano Arts Center is a nonprofit arts and educational organization founded in 1974 to promote, develop, and perpetuate the artistic and cultural heritage of the Hawaiian people and environment through visual, literary, and performing arts events.

This exhibition, opening on May 10, 2026, will showcase the immense efforts the U.S. Navy made during the Cold War to return the battleship USS Missouri to active service. Through never-before-seen archival photographs and artifacts, visitors will relive the crew's experience of reviving the slumbering Missouri and leading her on her historic circumnavigation of the globe. Located on the ship's forehand dining deck, the exhibition will be open to the public from Sunday, May 10, 2026, until May 2027.

The Hawaii Food and Wine Festival (HFWF) is Hawaii's largest food festival, held over three weekends each fall across three islands. Co-founded by two of Hawaii's James Beard Award-winning chefs, Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the festival showcases Hawaii's rich agricultural diversity and native culinary talent through world-class culinary experiences. Each year, more than 150 internationally renowned chefs, culinary celebrities, sommeliers, mixologists, and wine and spirits producers are invited to participate in approximately 20 events, ranging from grand tastings and wine dinners to children's cooking classes, wine seminars and more. Unlike other food festivals across the country, HFWF requires participating chefs to use at least one locally grown, raised or caught ingredient in their dishes, connecting Hawaii's farmers, ranchers and fishermen with thousands of attendees each year.
