Miami International Airport Hotel

Miami International Airport Hotel

Miami|9.45km from city center
The hotel couldn't be any closer or more convenient to the terminals and for our early am check in. We had access to the entire terminal's shops and restaurants. We walked around looking at our gate areas, so we knew where we needed to go. Check in was easy however, they didn't mention the restaurant on the 7th floor so instead, we ended up paying over $100 at a chain restaurant with a burger/sandwich menu. The price point is extremely high for what you get - for $250 plus a night I'd expect a refrigerator or a microwave, some wash cloths, more than one regular coffee packet and some soap, however, once we asked twice, we received these items fairly quickly. The rooms are dated, not doubt, but the king bed was big and comfy. I was rather pleased with the bright lighting and expandable makeup mirror in the bathroom. Nice to see what you really look like rather than looking in a dim mirror for once which is what you get now at higher end facilities. The window was filthy so there was no looking out the window-to be fair I doubt its easy to clean when jets are constantly flying over your head. The carpet needs to be replaced, there really was very little left of it in the room. Hallway carpet dated but clean. The TV/cable didn't work due to provider changes occurring within the county and the airport is a county building (which is was what we were told when we asked how to use the TV.) We were able to use wireless to stream TV on the iPad - it would have nice if they mentioned that as well so we weren't fighting about how to work the remote. There are really no amenities, and I would say this is comparable to an older but clean motel. However, it took 28 minutes total in the morning to check in, check our bags, get through security and be seated at the gate. Long story short, we would stay there again for an early am flight if we could get a cheaper price.

Stay Alfred Brickell

Stay Alfred Brickell

Brickell Miami|1.5km from Hobie Island Beach Park North
This was my 2nd Stay Alfred stay this month. Earlier this month, I was part of a group of 3 and we stayed in Tower 2, suite 2402. The suite was nice and clean. I stayed in the room without the ensuite. The room was good sized with a queen/double bed.. it included a desk and decent closet. The bathroom was large, but not particularly modern. Overall, it was a good stay. This most recent trip, 31 Oct - 4 Nov, we stayed in Tower 1, suite 1701. This building seemed smaller but the suite appeared much bigger! I stayed in the room with the ensuite and it was HUGE. The king sized bed was so comfy. Even though the duvet was covered well, when part of the sheet came off I saw there was a small stain :-( The TV in the room was a nice touch, but something was wrong with the display and despite having a similar Samsung model at home, I could not figure out how to take it off. I absolutely loved having a balcony attached to my room but the view was fabulous from all the balconies. Everything was clean and there were lots of nice touches like detergent by the washing machine. We took Uber/Lyft everywhere - they were always like 2-3 minutes away and really affordable. The 24 hr Walgreens and Publix are in walking distance, along with a gas station. I walked to the Walgreens many times and very late at night, always felt safe. My favorite part of Stay Alfred is the check in/out system. They provide you with a code to enter the building [Tower 2] and then very easy to understand instructions to use a key cafe where you receive the fob and access card that allows you to enter both buildings and your suite. All of this is clearly outlined in the emails sent prior to your arrival with specific details provided about 48 hours before check-in. During our stay we never needed to contact anyone so I did not miss a front desk. They do have a 24 hr customer service number and live chat if you do have questions. I was never a fan of hotels and have been opting for AirBnBs during all my trips for the last few years. Now I am really looking forward to using Stay Alfred on all my future trips.

Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Miami - Coral Gables

The staff is what makes this place amazing. Nora is always friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful with my requests. She was my ”recreation director” during my stay, and trill took care of me and my son while we were there. Juan, one of the managers, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and ”at home”. Yeilly addressed every issue I brought to her attention. Angelo promptly fixed a jammed window shade in my room. Lisette, the other manager was always friendly and helpful. Andres and Vincent were my breakfasts hosts that I enjoyed my morning coffee with.

I think this hotel has more slots Advantages: The location is very good. It is a 10-minute drive from the bayside market and a 10-minute drive to the island. The gate is a miami trolley terminal (the bus is free and there are many lines). The welcome is a hot chocolate tart, and free ice water and limited wines are available in the lobby. The waiter was warm. The restaurant 8 and 1/2 downstairs is good, the Italian girl is warm and patient. Disadvantages: Check in at 16:00, which is a little early, so wait until 4:30 to get ready. In addition, if check in is later than required, additional fees will apply. Room facilities are not new. Downstairs is a construction site, as if building a church. It has been more than a year. Workers started work at 7 o'clock on weekdays. Don't expect too much of a room with a park view. It is a street garden with a view of the sea. The other part of the hotel is the superior apartment where you can see various dogs in the lobby. Hotel parking can only be valet parking, a price every 4 hours, 30 dollars a day, and tip. Behind the small chapel is $ 10 during the day and $ 10 overnight (please call me Lei Feng). It's opposite the office building and it won't open on weekends. In addition, it is not recommended to choose a room with breakfast. If you choose, the hotel will provide a $ 10 voucher per person, which is applicable to the 6 restaurants downstairs, it is better to eat it yourself. I booked a room with breakfast, but the breakfast information was not tied to the room number, order number or the person who booked it. It is randomly bound to the person who stays. The hotel didn't find my breakfast, and Ctrip didn't find it. I saw it at check-out and gave a day of vouchers. I went to buy bread for lunch.

Very good five star hotel. Good location, surrounded by high-rise apartments and glass office buildings. If you need to drive in and out of the parking lot multiple times by car, it is recommended to use the hotel's Valet, which costs slightly more than US $ 48 a day, but unlimited access, only need to call 10 minutes before the car. If you only need to go in and out once, you can self-park. There are only a few street parkings around the hotel. The room is large and the facilities are fully functional. The toilet is separated from the wet and dry, which is very user-friendly. The pool area service is in place, you do n’t need to worry about it during the whole process, just enjoy it ~ the food is very delicious, I ordered three dishes, everything was delicious

Stayed here 2 nights post cruise and we simply loved it--5 min walk from the beautiful Brickell shopping center. The best part of this hotel is the pool area without a doubt--its stunning with great service and a gorgeous pool where children are most welcome. The main lobby bar is a slight let down for us and looks a little dated but still nice. Rooms again are nice but in comparison with other 5 star properties in Miami are showing signs of age. Breakfast however in Le Mar is spectacular with simply beautiful food and if you eat outdoors the views are magnificent.

I'm giving my experience a 5 star review because of Peter and his welcoming energy! He was fabulous and super helpful during our entire stay. The only negative experience would be the super thin walls. I could hear conversations (and other activities) from my neighbors on both sides of the wall. I stayed on the 15th floor. Hotel is in great location - walking distance to coffee, convenience stories and great restaurants in Brickell Village. Bed and pillows comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a rack or shelf in the shower to hold soap, shampoo, etc. Quick and great valet service.

We will stay here again when we come back to Miami. The hotel service is very good, we arrived very early in the morning, the hotel still tried to help us find a vacant room for us to check in. There are big supermarkets, pharmacies and monorails that travel around the city for free within a few minutes of walking. I will still live here next time.
