Private Garden of WHPS members Barbara and David Bendlin, Milton.
This stunning garden features perennials, unusual trees and shrubs, a gorgeous stone-clad shed, garden art, ponds and an adjacent prairie. Barbara was the WHPS sponsored speaker at this year’s Garden Expo, where she shared the fascinating journey of their garden.
Al’s Autobody and Hosta Emporium

An exciting opportunity for us to walk the trails and shop for hostas at Al Ritchie’s property. Al runs an autobody shop on five acres of mixed oak, hickory and walnut trees. He started landscaping around his shop with hostas and has never looked back. He offers hundreds of varieties for sale, including his own registered cultivars, such as Al’s ‘Compadre’ and ‘Burlesque’.
