the service was good, but there were stain on the bed sheet and hair on the floor even after house keeping, hope they can improve the cleaning a bit.
and the water was not hot enough, other than that everything else is ok.
We stayed there for 3 nights, we got picked up from the airport for free, on level 3 departure. The shuttle runs approximately every half an hour.
The room was on level 10. It's a modern and very clean room, that's what we like about. It's a little noisy sometimes from airplanes taking off, but it depends on the wind direction, sometimes we didn't get the noise.
Capstan train station was the nearest to the hotel about 15 minutes walk.
Price wise was reasonable for a Fourstar hotel, that's the reason why we liked this hotel.
A nice stay in the Park Inn Hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. We had a double queen room, which was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside the town. Breakfast was basic but set us up for the day. Water stations are available. Would stay again.
During the epidemic, breakfast was changed to take-out packaging, which is quite rich, with bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, apples, and a bottle of mineral water! The room is quite satisfactory and Canadian standard equipment, convenient parking, free parking
My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice.
The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls.
We had a wonderful stay.
I recently stayed at the Courtyard Nanaimo and had a lovely experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with good coffee facilities—a nice touch to start the day.
The location was perfect, close to the seaside and many great restaurants, making it easy to explore the area.
The only downside was that parking wasn’t free, which was a bit disappointing. There was also a payment error where my card was charged multiple times, but the hotel handled it professionally and issued a quick refund, which I appreciated.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I would happily return!
4/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (would have been 5/5 with free parking!)
Older hotel but nicely updated while keeping it's charm. Our room was spotlessly clean. The lobby had fresh coffee and teas to make along with comfortable couches, a gym, jacuzzi and sauna.
All I can say is the kids loved it other than the beds. The beds were both visibly sunken in the middle. This was in room 164. Our friends stayed in another room and had great beds. Ours needs replacing badly.
The worst part was the noise at night heard until everyone settled down for the night around midnight. (We use earplugs and still too noisy)
The rooms aren’t sound proof at all. Upstairs or down. Our friends stayed in a room upstairs and had the same problem.
The best part was the pool for the kids which is why we chose to stay here along with the included breakfast(yogurt, peaches fruit cups, white bread for toast, cereal, make your own pancakes, juice and coffee. Had milk but no cream for coffee which many voiced their disappointed ). Very minimal breakfast but kids were happy enough.
Hopefully management can make a few changes to make the stay better for the guests to come.
Very very pleasant stay. We used it for an overnight 14h layover before continuing our trip
- location is unbeatable, 1 min walk from check in areas
- staff was all around very friendly
- high quality (even though a bit old), but very well maintained and also high quality bathroom equipment (soaps, cremes etc).
- beds were extremely comfortable
- breakfast is à la carte with views of the airplanes / terminals
- gym is small but all you need is there
Amazing

Great
GGuest UserGreat spot for a relaxing couple of days. We only wished we were there longer to really get the benefit of having a suite. So good to have our own washer and dryer and plenty of room.
AAnonymous UserThe rooms are newly renovated and spacious. But the plastic cups and disposable cutlery make the experience worse. There was also a weird smell coming from the sink.
Bbdawwg 017Nice hotel, clean and good size rooms. A bit out of the way in comparison to town. We were traveling with a large group and some hotel staff were accusing us of poor behavior even though we specifically told them we weren't part of the group they thought we were. Didn't matter though, the hotel staff in the hallways treated our children poorly, threatening them and were yelling at them for walking down the hallway to another room, even though the gentleman at the front desk didn't even know the kids were walking past when they did, we asked him. We made sure kids were in their rooms before 11 and we were on the 1st floor. Amenities were nice and Ricky's restaurant next door was convenient. However because of the poor treatment, we will not be back.
CCindyTsangWe were impressed by the spacious and artistry designed suite. Proper kitchenware and laundry room. You need to bring your own detergent or purchase downstairs the lobby.
The entire suite has very good lighting for make up, especially the bathroom sink area. There is a gas operated BBQ outside the patio, but we didn’t use it during the winter.
Location is good, 1 min to the gas station & supermarket, 10 mins to Radium Hot Spring.
There are indoor swimming pool & hot tub, and one outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool table can be accessed only if you rent the entire board room for a fee.
We love to come back next time probably in the summer, to explore more the hotel amenities and the golf course.
王王The hotel is relatively new, but the room size is small and the use is relatively cramped. On the edge of the highway, it is relatively deserted. Book more days in advance, the price may be considered affordable, if you book within a few days, the price/performance ratio is not high. Breakfast is average, but during the epidemic period, it's okay, and it's completely full. Overall, yes.
CCKWtripWhat we like: The hotel is quite new, the room is quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful.
What we don’t like: The hotel is located at the edge of the town, which is few minutes drive from the downtown area. It is also close to the railway and we can hear train noise in the evening.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It was a good stop over for our trip to Banff.
GGuest UserThe front desk is very friendly and helpful. Cleaniness is required to improve, as a lid-cover for chips and tissue waste were found on bed.
GGuestMiaSundance Lodge has the perfect location in sun peaks. Buttons restaurant is attached with excellent food, and overlooks the ski slopes. We went in the summer and enjoyed hiking, nature and biking. Being in the heart of town and activities we explored the village. We had such a lovely room with a kitchen and separate bedroom. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. We attended a free concert and took in some great restaurants. wonderful accommodation.
GGuest UserThe facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better.
Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!
