My freshly adult son was traveling alone to Dublin for school, so I booked him a transitional room for one night. He arrived in the morning, before the official check-in time, but the hotel allowed him to store his luggage and told him he could check in at 3 PM. He then went out to explore the area. On his way back to the hotel, he got caught in a heavy downpour and was completely drenched. As he sat in the lobby, feeling helpless, a staff member kindly approached him and asked if he'd like to go to his room then. Upon receiving an affirmative answer, they promptly helped him with an early check-in. Knowing he had to go to school the next day, they also thoughtfully assisted him in booking a taxi. I'm incredibly grateful to the hotel staff for taking care of my son. They provided such considerate care and attention to a young adult who was feeling lost and overwhelmed on his first day in a foreign country. I always trust Hilton's century-old quality and their attentive service to every guest. I also wish the kind staff good health and smooth work! Thank you very much!

I booked this hotel for my husband who was on a business trip and decided to come along as it gave me a chance to visit Dublin. Am so glad I did. I had a polished, gracious welcome, a lovely room (thankfully facing away from the main streets) which was quiet, stylish but most of all, very comfortable. I enjoyed the vibe in the lobby, it’s well used by guests as well as locals and the breakfast was generous and extensive. It’s always great when a hotel will continue to look after you after check out and my bags were taken care of and transport advice offered. Perfect stay!

I had a good time staying the second time All kitchen facilities provide , I’m glad I was able to do some cooking on my second day , has the shops don’t open until 10 .. room was tidy , clean and comfortable .. hotel is close to amenities just 5 minutes work to most high street shops 🥰🥰🥰 it’s worth the stay thanks once again , staff was nice too

Since my flight arrived at night, it was a bit difficult to find the hotel. I took bus 783 or 784 from the airport at 10:45 PM, and got off at the first stop, Porint (about 18 minutes ride). Then I crossed the road, turned into a small street towards the traffic light, and checked into the hotel after a total of 13 minutes. The front desk staff were very helpful. They arranged a 7-seater taxi for us to the ferry terminal (Dublin to Holyhead) for £16 plus a £5 tip. The room facilities were complete. There's a large supermarket (Lidl) about a 15-minute walk away, and Trinity College is about a 25-minute walk. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

The hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

The hotel was at a good location, and had super markets nearby. The room was good, with a comfortable bed, and the buffet breakfast was also nice as desired. Would recommend this hotel to all who are reading my review.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom was clean and modern. Fitness area was nice. Only downside is that space in the room was a bit cramped, and the location from downtown Dublin was a bit far.

The location is PERFECT. My first time visiting Dublin and it was literally seamless because of this hotel, the location is supreme, the coffee shop downstairs is so comfortable and makes legitimately good coffee. The room was the perfect size for me and my sister. The bathroom is a great size and the beds were extremely comfortable. The washing machine in the room was also very convenient. Staff were really helpful and overall this was amazing service! Everything in central Dublin is walking distance and you are extremely close to the tram/Luas too

Nothing to say about Nyx Portobello, except that it’s a new and beautiful hotel: - Rooms are extremely well decorated - People are kind - Breakfast is tasty - The bar is beautiful and you can have a great dinner there with cool music Thank you for the hotel stuff for making our weekend beautiful.

Great hotel and helpful staff on the check in desk. The room was spacious and the bed comfy, earning a relatively good nights sleep for my one-night stay. The room has the basics you need to get by. Location is great as it’s in the heart of the city, although being situated right at the top of the Liffy there will be some walking to get to the fun spots. However, you can get the tram right outside the hotel, which is super consonant. Would stay again for sure.
