Hotels With Gym in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan

Great location! I chose this place after seeing in the reviews that it's run by a Chinese couple. We experienced an earthquake and a typhoon during our two-day stay, so we couldn't go sightseeing elsewhere. We just explored the surrounding area when the rain eased up. I often come to Japan for vacation and have stayed in all sorts of hotels and guesthouses. Overall, this place is pretty good. I met the proprietress when checking in and the owner when checking out. Not bad at all! The hotel also offers several free shuttle buses.

My stay at Izu Shuzenji Marriott exceeded all expectations! Japanese hotels are generally quite compact, but this one was exceptionally spacious. Both twin beds were 1.5 meters wide, and there was a sofa, providing ample space to move around. The room even came with a private onsen bath, which was incredibly healing. Perched on a mountaintop, the hotel offered expansive views, though it was cloudy during my visit, so I missed seeing Mount Fuji. The restaurant's window seats had an amazing ambiance. Both the food and the environment were excellent, and the service was attentive. This is definitely my top choice for a hot spring getaway in Izu. Highly recommended!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the station, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, shopping areas, and Genbei River. It was so convenient for exploring Mishima. 101/100! ❤️❤️❤️ The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent, and the views were unforgettable. We enjoyed seeing Mt. Fuji from the restaurant, and especially from the open-air onsen. We had a room with the city view, and it was wonderful! ❤️ A relaxing and memorable stay. We would definitely love to come back again. 🇯🇵

I would hesitate booking this hotel if you are looking for a “wow” experience. We had some issues due to bad weather and some due to service. We booked a room that ideally should have had views of Mount Fuji. Due to the fog, we saw nothing for our 1 night stay outside of the clouds. This is no fault of the hotel but worth factoring into expectations. We also had some service shortfalls. No one in advance communicated that we needed to select a time for the included dinner or pick the cuisine we wanted.  As a result, we got stuck with what was available. We also were not informed that there was a shuttle to a nearby train station (the hotel made up for this by driving us to the station, but the only reason we knew was another guest mentioned it). Lastly, we selected a meal option but were not told the supplement in advance so had a 24,000 yen surprise on our bill. Had this all been communicated in advance, we would have felt better about our stay. At breakfast, we waited over 20 minutes for coffee and had to ask 3 times before it was eventually served. On the plus side, the hard product is strong and our Kappo dinner was delicious. While this wasn’t a “bad stay” - I struggle to see how this hotel landed as a 3 Michelin Star rating and can charge the prices that are charged given some of the issues we faced.

This hotel is rather new. Only a 5 minutes drive to Gotemba premium outlet. Free parking at hotel. Spacious modern room with lovely Mt Fuji view. Breakfast is ala carte and limited variety. But yummy still.  7/eleven is a 5 minutes walk away. We stayed for 4 nights. and on the second night had a 5.6 earthquake experience. Building shook and everyone is safe. Thank God. Another good thing is there is a washing machine with dryer. Will come back and stay if I and back to Gotemba. The last trip we stayed at Clad hotel which is nice and very convenient as it's just at the premium outlet. If you drive I will recommend to stay at Edit X seven instead.  

We really enjoyed our stay here! While the hotel is a little out of the way, it was the perfect choice for us as it's conveniently located near the speedway, which was the main reason for our visit. If you're driving, the free parking is a huge plus, and there's also a shuttle service if you don't have a car. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well. Very good gym which we utilised After a relaxing soak in the onsen, enjoying the complimentary milk was such a nice touch and something we looked forward to. We added breakfast to our stay, and it was definitely worth it. There was a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western options, with plenty to choose from each morning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with excellent facilities and friendly staff. We'd definitely stay here again, especially if we're visiting the speedway.

Lots of good, one bad for me that really impacted the score. Rooms are recently refurbished, large spacious and well equipped. USB-C sockets everywhere, along with all the expected toiletries that most other hotels stopped providing a while back - vanity kit, hair bands, sewing kit, razor, etc. etc. Beds are hard and pillows too soft but this is normal for Japan. What really killed it for me was an unknown, unwritten surcharge for use of the onsen (public bath), swimming pool and gym. Not only was this an additional 1650yen per person, but this is a per-day fee and the same for a child irrespective of age. To top it off the swimming pool was out of action due to maintenance all 4 nights we stayed, and the onsen itself holds 4 only and has a single hot bath and has yet to be refurbished to any kind of standard equivalent to the rooms. This soured the entire experience adding an additional 3300x4 fee to our stay. I wouldn't normally pay but this was a trip I'd promised my son for some time and he adores onsen. So how could I let him down?

The room was really spacious and deep, which made for some truly elegant photos. Overall, this is probably one of the most upscale hotels in Atami. While there's no free shuttle to Atami Station, there's a bus stop right outside, and the front desk can also help arrange a taxi. There was a Chinese-speaking woman with shoulder-length hair and glasses, who was incredibly polite and had excellent service sense. The hotel facilities are also great; the public onsen is definitely worth trying – it's very clean and even has free drinks. Breakfast was good too; not a huge variety, but the quality was decent. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score is that the hotel's Wi-Fi signal for laptops was really poor, making it impossible to work. After I reported it to the hotel, they couldn't offer any solution other than moving rooms, but they didn't have another vacant room of the same type, so that didn't work out. All in all, the hotel itself is excellent and definitely among the top-tier in Atami for quality.

I had an excellent stay at the Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it one of the best nights' sleep I've had during my trip. The room was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with many popular attractions reachable within an hour's drive, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area. What impressed me most was the staff. They were consistently friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests or questions. Their excellent service made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend the Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, convenient location, and outstanding hospitality.

Very satisfied with a stay experience, the room was very large, clean and comfortable. All balconies face the sea and bring 𠕇 private hot spring baths. Our family of five booked three rooms on two websites. The hotel contacted us in advance to learn about the height of the guests (with suitable bathrobes) and eating habits, specially for the cooked food that is not eaten raw. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The menu for two days has changed. The fish has lobster, sweet shrimp and various local season fresh fish and salmon. The cows are also fried in place, suitable for your requirements! The rooms are modern and simple and combine the style of traditional Japanese-style hotels. We have two Japanese-style rooms and one Western-style rooms, which are quite satisfactory to each other.  Lounge on the eighth floor, facing the sea to taste cold, hot coffee and green tea, Japanese snacks and fruits, but also can be soaked in the feet from the balcony, you can get a good rest without the shop! The seventh floor has a good view and complete outdoor style... All the staff of the hotel are very warm, courteous and very professional! This is the most satisfying hotel for our family's vacation in Japan. We feel 100 points of the hotel and meet again next year!
