First, room cleanliness: Generally okay, but the details were lacking. There was dust (visible dust flew up when opening and closing the cabinet doors), four or five short hairs on the bed, and two hairs and dust on the nightstand đ„ I considered changing rooms but was too tired to bother. Facilities: Both shower heads were difficult to use, and the drainage was also an issue. After I reported it to the front desk on the first morning, they said they would fix it, but it was still the same when I showered on the second night đ Breakfast: Mediocre. The selection was so limited that I thought some areas hadn't even opened yet đą
I stayed for one night on Samarkand sightseeing.
Amenities are also substantial. The room is clean.
The breakfast was delicious.
The restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious.
There are convenience stores, and I think it is perfect for sightseeing.
I had a really good stay. The hotel was new, clean and the price was truly reasonable even included the breakfast. The staff was really friendly and kind. I would highly recommend to others. if I travel to Samarkand again I will definitely stay there.
The hotel is next to historical landmark Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. Registan Square is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute drive away.
Taxi drivers need to be given the exact location of the hotel, which is on an uphill road, otherwise they may be dropped off in front of Shah-i-Zinda Cemetery.
Hotel room is well equipped and wifi is stable.
Staffs are really helpful.
Fruits provided for breakfast are juicy.
We stayed on the 16th floor and the view was amazing. AC truly kept us cool during summer heat. Breakfast buffet had varieties of Uzbek food. Overall, we had a great stay.
Nice room and varied breakfast buffet. Great Spa area with pool, sauna and hamam. The aircon in our room unfortunately was quite loud, blasting at full force, and it wasnât possible to adjust it or turn it down. We gave feedback and they said they would send a technician to fix it while we were out, but the issue remained. Overall a pleasant stay.
We stayed at this hotel for a few days as a couple and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is new, modern, and comfortable. Although itâs located a bit outside the city center (around 15 minutes by taxi, costing about 30,000 UZS), the area around it is quite charming â a newly developed park zone with music fountains, restaurants, photo spots, a water park, and canals. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Overall, a nice and comfortable place to stay.
We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I donât blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said âwe never used itâ, she reacted with âI am sure you didâ in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said âsorry for the mistake.â
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staffâs service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named âFirdavâ at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
Top hotel, one of the best in town, with spacious rooms, restaurant, swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), gym and everything you need. The place was clean and we had a confortable experience. I would recommend.

LLuoleibinA good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, âWait a minute, now it's double the price.â Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless đ, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.

MmikestoffLia! by Minyoun Stars of Ulugbek is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful and well-equipped hotel. Tucked away in a quiet part of the city, itâs ideal for a relaxing getaway or a comfortable base for leisure travel. The front desk team is incredibly professional and genuinely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Breakfasts are a real highlight, with a great selection and a restaurant team that speaks fluent English and Chinese, which makes the experience even smoother for international guests. And the cherry on top? Each room comes with a private balcony offering a stunning view of the nearby canal, such a peaceful spot to start or end the day.
I would absolutely recommend this property for families, groups of friends, or business travelers. Itâs a gem!

GGuest UserThe Wellness Park Hotel Bactria provides a truly elegant and modern retreat in Samarkand. It is highly praised for its immaculately clean, spacious rooms and the exceptional, professional service delivered by the staff. Featuring excellent wellness facilities and a serene location near the new Eternal City, it is the top choice for travelers seeking sophistication, comfort, and tranquility.
