The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, very clean and tidy. The front desk service was excellent, always ready to assist. The rooms are spacious and bright, with an elegant environment, offering a garden-style accommodation experience. Highly recommended.

This hotel is perfectly situated on a hillside in the heart of the village, offering convenient access and excellent views. The service is incredibly attentive, with seamless arrangements for transfers to and from the scenic area entrance. Every staff member is genuinely warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Breakfast is prepared with great care, and they even sent us off with a small gift and drinks for our journey. What truly stands out is that every evening, the guesthouse hosts 4-5 incredibly talented artists performing Dong Grand Songs. Listening to them up close is a truly enchanting experience, like celestial music, and a wonderful artistic treat. This performance significantly enhanced our stay.

As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. There were no strange odors in the room, the carpet was dry, and the sheets were pristine white and wrinkle-free. The bathroom had excellent separation of wet and dry areas, and water stains were promptly cleaned. You can really tell the hotel puts a lot of effort into its cleaning and disinfection, which made for a very reassuring stay.

Stepping in, I was immediately impressed. The hallways are adorned with oil paintings, making each floor feel like an art exhibition. The design is a French-inspired 'cream cave' style – every corner is Instagram-worthy. Our double room was incredibly comfortable, with a spacious layout and soft bedding. The amenities are very smart, including a smart toilet. The attention to detail is evident, even the toiletries feel like works of art. The service was also exceptionally thoughtful. We were greeted with a welcome afternoon tea, and the Tremella soup was delicious. In the evenings, there's a comforting 'goodnight sweet wine and mochi' service. Plus, the 24-hour room service meant we could enjoy Guiyang snacks even late at night.

I chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness. What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly. In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation.

Facilities: The facilities are pretty good, but some things aren't very practical, like the lighting being too dim and the light switches not being well-placed. Environment: The design is beautiful; the old house renovation is very tastefully done. The room style is minimalist yet well-designed. Cleanliness: There were some cleanliness issues; the blanket had some stains. Service: The housekeeper contacted us in advance and recommended some good local restaurants. However, they might be short-staffed as the front desk was often unattended. One issue was that the room was very large, but there was heavy rain that night, and the toilet leaked. It's an old house, so it's understandable, but it still needs to be repaired promptly.

On our travels, we always hope to find a place that's not just a stopover, but a temporary 'home' for the soul. And this time, I truly found it. Pushing open that door was like stepping into another world. Every corner showed thoughtful care, with no excessive, flashy decorations, but rather a clean, comfortable quality. Time here seemed to slow down. Even more important was the moment I opened the window – that view instantly made me forget the fatigue of travel. Distant mountains were like painted eyebrows, and nearby waters hazy with mist. Whether it was dawn or dusk, the window frame was like a natural picture frame, and every glance was healing. But what truly made it hard to leave was the 'human touch' here. Every staff member was attentive and warm, and the service was absolutely top-notch. A greeting, a reminder – each made a warm wave ripple through my heart. I'll definitely be back.

Who knows! This trip was originally just about finding a place close to the scenic spots and convenient for dining, but I was completely blown away by the experience at this hotel. It's only a few minutes' walk from the entrance to the scenic area, so I could sleep in and leisurely stroll in, saving so much trouble. The hotel is surrounded by local restaurants and snack shops, so I didn't have to go far to find food – a paradise for lazy people! I was immediately captivated by the room. The overall design was a sophisticated wabi-sabi style, with gentle and comfortable color schemes, completely unlike the cookie-cutter style of chain hotels. The bed was large and soft, making for a wonderful sleep. The carpets and wall decorations were very stylish, showing the owner put a lot of thought into the design. The cleanliness was impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust in the corners, and the bathroom had no odors, making me feel very safe and secure. The hotel's public areas were also amazing – every corner was photogenic, and there was even a gym. The biggest surprise was the bathtub and swimming pool; after a long day of playing, a soak or a swim in the evening would instantly relieve all the fatigue of the trip. The service details were the biggest plus! The hotel proactively contacted us the day before our check-in, thoughtfully sending us a super practical travel guide, which saved us a lot of time planning by providing information on scenic routes and nearby restaurants. During our stay, the staff were also very welcoming, responding quickly to any needs and offering exceptional service, like friendly companions. Overall, this hotel is impeccable in terms of location, cleanliness, facilities, and service. It's close to the scenic spots, convenient for dining, the rooms are comfortable and stylish, and there's a swimming pool and gym, plus the attentive service. This trip was so comfortable; I'll definitely stay here again next time! For anyone traveling around here, you absolutely won't regret choosing this hotel!

Our stay was absolutely impeccable, with the breathtaking sea view from the window being the most memorable part. Every sunrise felt like a private visual feast. The hotel's service far exceeded our expectations; the staff were always incredibly attentive, anticipating our every need. The restaurant was a delightful surprise as well, offering exquisite local dishes every evening, all beautifully presented and delicious. We also received a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious suite with a private balcony, which made our entire vacation even more luxurious and comfortable. All in all, every detail here was perfect, elevating it far beyond a typical stay and becoming a cherished memory we'll always look back on fondly.

We had an enjoyable and wonderful 2-night stay in this homestay.   Staff was very helpful,  going all out to help us to exchange some chinese notes (rmb) and helping us to carry our luggage to the walk-up 5th Floor. Location was strategic, in the ancient town, surrounded by restaurants. Wifi is one of the strongest & best, compared to the rest that we have stayed in Guangzhou & Guiyang.
