Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

|0.15km from city centerI stayed at the Neiburgs Hotel for 5 nights with my husband in a Double Studio Apartment. The room was very spacious with a huge double bed and had a sofa and chair, a table with two chairs and a kitchenette area with sink, hob, microwave and fridge with mini bar. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the window had a lovely view over rooftops to the Bell Tower. Air conditioning kept us nice and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice and served in a lovely dining room at the front of the hotel with seats and tables outside. The hotel itself is in a beautiful building on the edge of the Old Town and was very quiet at night. All was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. If we are ever back in Riga we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Neiburgs Hotel.

After we checked into the room, we find out that the television does not work. Question to Yulia, why didn’t she warn us??? We decided to leave the hotel, but Yulia charged us 20 euros, for what???? It is her fault for not informing us that not all services were provided to the client. We have stayed at your hotel before, but after this incident, we certainly don’t want to come back here. Thank you for your understanding.

|1.01km from city centerThe breakfast buffet was good, and the variety was quite rich, but it may be because I got up late and was close to the end of breakfast, so the amount is quite small, the restaurant is not large; the location is OK, the location at the crossroads is an independent celebration The road that the parade will pass, seems to be a river across the road, and the park is beside the river (if I remember correctly), you can cross the park to the vicinity of the old city of Riga. BTW, the younger brother at the front desk is very nice

Room was also really nice and super clean! Would love to stay there again. Would also be nice for one staff to check the room before the guest officially checks out. So you can check if there are some things left behind. Apparently, i left my charger in the room and there was no more way to get it back. Good thing it’s not that important. Other than that, everything was superb!

|0.35km from city centerLocation is great, but that is about it. Hilton hotel in Riga can barely keep up to standarts and basic necessities, and is not reasonably priced whatsoever. Starting with parking, which is 20€ a day, its more like small extra land, which they call a parking lot. Barely enough for 10 cars, it was though to get to a spot and park, because cars were parked in no logical sense, there were no directions. They have underground parking, which they seemed unwilling to let you in, because apparently you ‘need assistance’ to get up and down and it’s not that easy. When we asked about access, after arrival on the first day, when we barely fit in the one last spot, they said ‘but you managed to fit in here!’ The mattress is rock hard and the pillows are so terrible, like I have never seen before, cheapest of the cheapest. Only drinking water available in the hotel shop downstairs(that they claim is reasonably priced, but it’s absolutely not), is the most expensive water bottles that you would usually find on a restaurant table, costing 5€ a liter. And finally, they have a warm water problem. If the hotel is full or you choose to shower in ‘busy time’(morning or evening) there is simply no warm water. This was a reoccurring issue over our stay and when we called reception after not having warm water on an October evening in Riga, when temperature is barely above 0•C, they simply said to wait for it. After 20 min of waiting and, once again, complaining that there still is no warm water, we were plainly told that there is nothing they can do because the hotel is full. We chose Hilton, even though the price was relatively high for staying in Riga(over 100€ a night), because we trusted in reputation and name of the chain, expecting a certain standart, however, it was not fulfilled whatsoever. Very disappointing stay, we tried to look over all the little issues, but lack of such a basic necessity as warm shower after a long day, was the last drop for us, so we checked out one evening earlier.

Don’t confuse this hotel with the other Radisson hotel which is also on Elizabete street, two blocks away. The other property is much larger and accommodates conventions. This Radisson Blu is smaller and more personal.

Breakfast was just the basic but the food was satisfactory. The location is also good as it is accessible by public transport from the airport and a short taxi ride away. The breakfast market is right next door and there is a restaurant called Grill Garden. It's not a central city, but I want to go there again because I can live with local people.

|0.64km from city centerWe have stayed 2 nights in a superior double room. What I really liked about the room: very spacious, water kettle, capsule coffee maker, very decent bathroom. We were surprised to get our room cleaned every day - this is not common anymore. What I didn't like about the room: windows are from ceiling to floor but when they are open, you can exit to the street - also from the 4th floor (there are no safety railings or similar safety features). The bathroom cosmetics is as cheap as it gets; for this room category I would expect something a bit better. At least now I know what a shampoo made in PRC feels like. Don't try it! Breakfast was very diverse and super delicious. The thing that bothered me that the breakfast room is on level -1, or in cellar. No natural lighting. Hotel reception: check-in was super smooth and fast. Maximum 2 minutes, probably less. During the 3-day stay in the hotel none of the receptionists was able to produce a smile or any welcoming gesture. It felt we were not so welcome. Oh and one more thing. Upon reservation the hotel will inform you to confirm your stay via email 2 days prior to arrival. They want to collect all kind of personal data with very vague privacy policy that tells you (if you can understand the legal lingo) that all your data will be used for advertising by 3rd parties (franchises). If you, on the other hand, decide not to provide this personal data you might be denied the stay while the first night will be taken from your credit card. What a bunch of crap! And one thing that bothered us a lot. The spa. One would expect that you can visit the spa when you feel like it, but not. You have to carefully plan your visit in advance. There were so many limitations that we decided to just skip it.

|1.48km from city centerMy second visit to this charming hotel, this time a 5 night ladies-only long weekend trip for Latvia’s longest day celebrations. I stayed in room 37 and although I booked a single room I was very pleased to have a double bed and a nice size bathroom with an obviously very new corner shower unit. The bed was very comfortable with adequate bedding and as the room was really a double I had double the amount of towels. There was a handheld hairdryer hanging from a towel hook in the bathroom but I did take my own. There was a floor standing fan in the room but it was difficult to plug in anywhere near the bed due to the location of the sockets but I did bring my own small fan which I put on the bedside table, a flat screen TV and a good size fridge. Unfortunately there is no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room but as this was my second visit I brought my own travel kettle and supplies. We all paid in advance for breakfast which is served in a very nice breakfast room in the basement and offers the choice of plenty of hot and cold food, cheese, pastries, assorted teas, fruit and fruit juices. The free coffee machine in the reception was kept well stocked this year (unlike last year when it was always either out of cups, water or beans). The Reception staff we dealt with were all super friendly and spoke very good English. The external courtyard has had a bit of a makeover this year and was a great spot to sit either before breakfast or last thing at night waiting for friends. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it’s charming rooms, great location just a 15 minute walk from the old town and helpful staff.

Breakfast was excellent offering hot, cold and local food; it was late to open on the one day when we needed it most though, as we were going out very early. Staff generally very helpful and friendly.
Bed very comfy. Good radiators for drying soggy coats. Would stay again (and are planning to as well!).

Front desk persons were all very kind, friendly and helpful and ready to provide service and answer questions with a smile. Breakfast choice was descent with some local specialty which I appreciate, and I received a lovely tulip on the International Women’s Day. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended!

The room had a great view, it was warm and smelled good. The only thing that was not exactly to our taste, was the softness of the bed, while we of course understand it is a matter of subjective taste. Was also great to have a small water boiler in the room for making morning coffee. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast lavish. Thank you!

The hotel offers breakfast however it is pretty basic, but enough to start your day. The staff was welcoming and nice. The decor is good and the rooms were clean. I think its a great place to stay if you are on a budget and want to visit Riga as the hotel is near most of the atractions.

The house is said to have more than 300 years of history, so there are wooden beams in the room. The carpet in the corner is very dirty. Other sanitation is ok The rooms are a bit retro, and the European style is overall.
The suite is very large with two beds and extra beds can be accommodated in a family of three or four. The single room is not clear.
The room on the main street is very very noisy. Downstairs is B bar. At night it is a bar. Disco-like music ends at 2 o'clock. The waiter gave earplugs and apologized.
When it was convenient to go out of the old town, it was really facing the church of domo.

|1.06km from city centerWe stayed here over the final weekend of the world hockey championships, which lent a real buzz to the city. The hotel is well located within a few minutes' walk of the Art Nouveau center and about 15 minutes from the Freedom Monument and Old Town sites. This is a three-star hotel, so does not have the amenities of many of the local larger hotels. There is no bar or restaurant for example, but there are plenty within walking distance. The rooms are quite basic, but very comfortable. No safe in the room and just soap in the shower (you can get travel sized shampoo and conditioner downstairs). Temperatures were mild when we visited so lack of AC was not a problem, but I can see it could get uncomfortable during the summer. Breakfast downstairs was plentiful. They even had a hot option, but we didn't try that. They'll provide free tea and coffee through the day. Service was very much five-star. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. There was always someone available to deal with requests or questions. Would be more than happy to stay again.

|0.54km from city centerWe had the Grand Suite for a bachelorette event on 13th of August, 2023, but the service was truly a disappointment. It all started when at arrival the room was not ready and they mixed up the time of arrival with the time I requested an ice bucket to be brought to the room. Further, I requested a plate to put some snack on but the receptionist confused it with antipasti and after not clarifying this in 2minutes said that this could not be cancelled. The personnel of the hotel is truly a disaster. not client oriented at all! when asked to fix this the guy starts coming at us not in any way in friendly matter that this was our request (when we clearly did not request it). After almost an hour of wait the room was cleaned. I requested a compensation for all this misunderstanding and the receptionist personally came to the Suite and offered a 10% discount for the whole dinner at their restaurant. When we finished the dinner and the bill arrived we were surprised of the fact that no discount was added, the waiter said that there was no information available to him of any discount and that the bill he issued could not be cancelled (at this point we felt that we are treated as complete *****s) however we tried to make an effort and help him solve this whole thing. He tried to offer us a bottle of Prosecco which we kindly refused and basically accepted some cocktails which we did not want. The cherry at the top of this whole stay was when we went out in the evening and asked to send someone to our room to clean the glass from the bathroom floor which was accidentally dropped and the receptionist offered us help in 9am next day…. A 5 star hotel they say… and there were personnel in the hotel… so with galas on the floor of Grand Suit we stayed the night :) When explaining the situation in the morning at the check out and how disappointed we were, the reception said that they understand us and this is unacceptable and they will clarify and call me to resolve this, as we could predict, no form of justification was offered at all…Well, two weeks later and no call whatsoever, should have expected this…

Building looks ugly from outside, but nice and cozy inside. There was everything in room what you need for 1 night: comfortable double bed, large flat TV, water kettle with coffee and minibar. Our room had very small window. We missed more hangers, there was only 2 pieces. Unfortunately floor heating was not in order in bathroom. Breakfast was like in typical 3* hotel, but this hotel has 4*.

Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out.
The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels.
Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.

We stayed for 3 nights including weekends, we had not been informed during check-in that the breakfast was served at 8am at weekend as we went to the restaurant as usual at 7am. Somehow, it affected our itinerary on that day! There was lack of staff to clean up tables and fill up food at weekend too as we returned to have our breakfast at 10 am

The room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, situated on the 19th floor with an amazing view. The spa was also impressive—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.
