Hotel Sanraku Yamashina Kyoto
Kyoto | 0.76km from The Daiso Yamashinaotowa
The hotel is located right outside Yamashina Station, which is very convenient. There are too many tourists in Kyoto and accommodation is expensive. It is much more cost-effective to live a little further away. The tram and subway are right next door and you can go anywhere. There is Yamashina Canal next to it where you can see cherry blossoms.

Hotel Fine Olive Kyoto Yamashina (Adult Only)
Kyoto | 1.98km from The Daiso Yamashinaotowa
It arrived around 21 o'clock with a plan that can be in from 18:00, and it was in a state that it was not connected unless it called a lot by the phone to the front desk. When I finally thought I was connected, it took a while to confirm the reservation and the waiting time at the entrance was long, so check-in was not smooth. It was the beginning of the year, so I might have been busy, but I wanted you to improve a little more.
The room is neither good nor bad. The bath was a bit small for two people to enter. It is reasonable for the price. The ventilation in the bathroom was not stopped, and it was cold, so I got my throat hurt because the air conditioner was fully operational. I thought it would be nice to have a humidifier.
I think it's a great deal if you use it for a short time, so I think I'll use free time next time ...

Very warm one-family building, although far from the station (very close to the second year of Han), but the environment is very good, very warm, quiet, can also experience the Japanese home life, suitable for family travel.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard.
However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements:
1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue.
2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition.
3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience.
4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated.
5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space.
6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering.
In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction.
If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards.
Best regards, next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards.
Best regards,

Spotless for a mild cleanliness patient, here is as comfortable as home. My heart trembles every time I think about planning to climb a hill, but I never regret my decision to live on the mountain every time. It is the most pleasant thing to walk around slowly in the early morning every morning, and the mood is peaceful and happy. I met 🌈 this time. At breakfast, I felt very lucky. Spring and autumn in Kyoto are the most beautiful seasons.

Centrally Located with a Few Drawbacks
Travel Lodge is located on a shopping street with plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s also within walking distance of Gion, making it a great base for exploring. The location offers easy access to both bus and metro lines, making transportation convenient, and it’s not a far walk to reach either option. They also provide luggage storage, which is helpful.
However, be aware that rooms are only cleaned every 4th day, so if you’re staying fewer than four nights (like we did), you won’t have a clean room and you’ll need to grab supplies and exchange towels at the main desk.
The hotel breakfast, served at a neighboring restaurant, was a bit of a letdown. It mainly consisted of bread and some oily sides, though the coffee and drink options were good. The room itself was typical for a Japanese hotel—compact, but clean, with a hot shower. Despite the small size, after a long day of walking, you’ll sleep fine!
Just keep in mind that check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM, so plan accordingly!

The room is super large, including tatami, Western-style bed, dining table and living room. The hotel is very new and close to Kyoto Station.
It's just that the bathroom has a glass bath screen. If you want to go to the bathroom, you have to go through the bathroom first.
It was a very comfortable stay here, the staff was polite, and I would choose this hotel again.

If you are a traveller like us who would like some more privacy, this place is not exactly for you. Don't get me wrong, the hotel staff are absolutely wonderful. Just that most things are communal and you have wait for your turn to shower and finish by 11.35. The walls are quite thin indeed, you can easily hear people walking on the hallway or simply chatting in their rooms.

Very clean very big and suitable for family. It is one stop away him kyoto station. There is a ice skating facility and public bath in the hotel. We used the bath everyday. Near to the famous noodle.
It's a really good hotel. The facilities are very new and the service is very good. I suggest buying breakfast on the platform. There are both Japanese and Western food. It costs 3850 yen. English is basically barrier-free, and there is also a Chinese version of the check-in explanation document for you to see.
The executive lounge seems to be available in all rooms. There are not many types, but there are ham and cheese, which is good for drinking.
The hotel is relatively green (a common problem in Japanese hotels), but this one can make you feel comfortable and has everything you should have.
The transportation is very close to the bus station, which is very convenient to go to Nijo Castle, Kamo River, and Yasaka Shrine. The subway is a little far, but it can also be reached in five minutes on foot, so it is also easy to go to Fushimi Inari Taisha.
The entire hotel design is full of sincerity, and you can find many small surprises of the designer. For example, the missing gate 🤪
The room is still not big, but the box can definitely be opened, and a few photos of the lobby are put to make up for it.
I will definitely stay there next time!

The location of the hotel is good, just around 5-8 mins walk from the JR station. It’s still easy even if you are taking 2 big luggages.
It is convenient that there are a few convenient stores nearby. We can buy food and drinks easily.
The room is not really big for opening the luggages but it is still comfortable.
Here's a review for the hotel in Kyoto:
I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, making me feel warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality truly added a personal touch to my stay. Highly recommended!

It is not recommended for guests with more luggage or large boxes: First, because the homestay is located in the scenic area of two years and three years, tourists are like weaving during the day, and taxis can't get in at all. You need to drag your suitcase and walk a long uphill and downhill stone road and steps to find a place to live; Second, it is because it is difficult to call the car after checking out. You need to drag your suitcase through the woven stone street to the main road far away to take a taxi... Of course, for guests who have no luggage or less luggage, you may wish to experience the feeling of an old room for one night.

Check-in at Kyoto Station... Also looking for, a little distance.
We didn't know until we arrived at the hotel door, but the store service was very good and the remedy was very timely.
The stairs are a bit steep and will not be a very good experience.
