"The rooms are exactly how it was displayed on the web. You got towels, refrigerator, hairdryer, and water heater pot, but no tea or coffee at the room. They provide slippers, toothbrush etc that you can take home. Wifi is good too. My room was overseeing the road but not too noisy. The Hotel front door is closed at 00 - 06, but you can open it with your key. For it's price of ~10,000 yen/2 person, it's a very proper hotel, better than paying the same price for hostels next to Kyoto Station. It's 1km/15 min walk, bearable with small-mid suitcase. Receptionist understands English but it wasn't exactly needed."

"A superb hotel located very close to Kyoto Station. The staff is extremely polite and professional, providing excellent service. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is outstanding and truly worthy of a 5-star palace. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view over Kyoto city. The room is fully equipped with everything you need: green tea and coffee facilities, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, as well as daily amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, body sponge, body wash, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel."

"Best hotel I stayed in Japan hands down. Perfect room layout for me (partioned bedroom, toilet and shower). They offer many complimentary experiences throughout the day (i.e snack and dinner). The breakfast buffet had many options, both western and Japanese. Lovely and friendly staffs. Nearby keihan train station and a bus stop which made my kyoto travel easy and breezy. 100% recommended."

"Overall, I really liked the hotel! The location is super convenient — close to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and the design was minimal but stylish, which I really loved. They also have a relaxing bath house, which was a nice bonus. One of my favorite things was that the TV in the room could connect directly to my phone — so convenient! However, there was one issue. My friend lost a necklace, and it felt like the staff didn’t communicate well with each other. It seemed like no proper report or message was passed on, because every time we asked, we had to explain everything from the beginning. That was a bit frustrating. I really hope the necklace is found — please contact us as soon as possible if it is! That’s all from me. Overall, still a good stay!"

"This hotel is very good location, near Omiya station (Hankyu line), Exit#5 has elevator 🛗 from platform to ground floor). If take Kyoto City bus, take bus number 206, 207 to Omiya matsubara station and walk just 150meters. This hotel is very clean, has all amenities, and facilities in the room (refrigerator and hair dryer). This hotel also have coin laundry machine and ice maker machine at 1st floor. I'm very happy with this hotel and its reasonable price, so I extend to stay here total 5 days."

"A unique hostel-like stay with a private room but shared bathroom. Clean and comfortable. The location in Kyoto is perfect-right near the bus station where I caught my overnight bus to Tokyo (shoutout to the receptionist girl who told me where to buy the ticket!). I walked to all the major sights from here, and there's a 7-Eleven right across the street. The lobby is spacious, great for eating or relaxing, and they even provide really nice pajamas. Highly recommend staying at least one night to explore Kyoto!"
