"So this is my 2nd time staying at the canwin hotel. I mainly booked it because of the swimming pool which is well maintained and open 24 hours For the price it is very budget friendly, my room included a substantial healthy breakfast every morning consisting of potato wedges eggs sausages baked beans and freshly squeezed pineapple and ginger. There is an onsite restaurant which is very handy. The staff are always up on hand very friendly very helpful There is a shopping mall with a large supermarket 5 minutes uber drive from the hotel and the beach is also not too far The property of rooms are slightly dated but are still very clean there is hot water AC and dstv with a couple of channels I've always enjoyed staying here and would recommend"

"We recently stayed at the Central Hotel Ridge in Accra while traveling with a group of about 35 people in June 2026. While this could be overwhelming to some properties, we were pleasantly surprised how this hotel handled a group of this size seamlessly. The front desk team was incredibly welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and swift. The attentive concierges were genuinely interested in our comfort during our stay. The incredibly friendly restaurant staff went completely out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. This was genuine Ghanaian hospitality at its finest. During our stay in Ghana, this hotel served as our ’home base’. We experienced outstanding customer service as they stored our bags when we visited other parts of the country and then returned the bags to our rooms when we returned. This type of anticipatory service was unexpected and sincerely appreciated. A ‘shout out’ for a few of the outstanding employees that we encountered. Sarafina (sp), whose smile can light up the world, was one of the managers whose smile can light up the world constantly asked about our stay along with how it could be improved. Linda and Sarah were two of the restaurant staffers that made sure the buffet remained stocked with fresh food (many Ghanaian options) and quickly cleared the tables. Kwaku (sp) was the night desk clerk who provided resources when requested and happily discussed the Ghana FIFA Futbol team with us. Anthony (tall with glasses) was one of several bellmen that helped with our luggage. If you are looking for a hotel in Accra that is conveniently located and where you are treated like a valued guest rather than just a room number, Central Hotel Ridge is it. The team here sets a high standard for world-class service. We strongly recommend that others consider this property if/when they visit Accra."
