Hello Hayat Regency Management, Overall, my experience was excellent, although I was unable to extend my stay and had to switch to a different hotel. Firstly, I'd like to commend the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general. The service provided, both at the restaurant and reception, was exceptional. Additionally, your internet service is among the best in town, which, as a Google Engineer, I can attest to. However, I must address an issue regarding the parking entry, which was quite challenging. Despite the availability of ample parking spaces, the entry point was poorly designed, making it difficult to maneuver in and out. I even sought assistance but unfortunately couldn't find any. I hope this issue can be addressed. Furthermore, there seems to be a communication gap regarding the parking, as those directing customers to the lot should clarify whether it's manageable for new arrivals. It was disappointing to be guided to the parking lot by someone representing Hayat Regency, only to find it inaccessible. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I hope it contributes to enhancing the overall experience for future guests.

We visited the Marriot restaurant for a polite dinner and tried the BBQ Chicken pizza. This was by far the greatest pizza I have had in Addis Ababa, it’s simply done and incredibly delicious! The ingredients are fresh and the toppings are well done in good quantity, and with a thin crust. The bbq sauce seasoning is not overly sweet, and it allows the pizza to melt easily in your mouth at every bite. I would definitely recommend this pizza to anyone.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property, the views from the room were incredible, and the staff was superb! Special thanks to Afework, Tilaye, Sileshi, and Sefiw at the lounge for their tremendous service, as well as Beheilu, Befkadu, Aschalew, Legesse for their excellent service elsewhere around the hotel, and Danawit at the reception for a super smooth check-out process! Thank you Sheraton Addis team for a truly phenomenal stay!

I'd like to give this establishment the highest recommendation and thank reception staff for their friendly and warm-hearted assistance when dealing with my many requests. Reception staff went above and beyond to ensure all my requests were superbly dealt with in a professional manner. The hotel is located in a secure area of Addis and security staff watch your back in the vicinity. Additionally, the hotel features an excellent gym and provides 24 hour room service. It can be seen that this is a historic hotel, can see the glory of the year, and now the facilities are relatively old. If the high-rise building is better, the living quarters, the environment and facilities will be much worse. The breakfast was very rich and it was delicious. Dinner buffet, no drinks, price 40 dollars, not much stuff, no breakfast rich. In the hotel lobby, there is a place to drink traditional Ethiopian coffee, there are many shops on the first floor, the hotel has complete fitness facilities, gym, tennis, basketball, and many other venues. A lot of people outside come to work out.

Last week we spent 5 nights at this hotel in room 208. Pick up at the airport is free and a great service. Personnel is nice, not all of them speak English really well but that is also charming. The room was spacious and clean, has a safe and had warm water for all nights, our traveling companions in room 102 and 103 did not have warm water. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed a made to order omelette each day. Each day there was also a western option either pancakes or French toast. Toast and boiled eggs are also available. We were told the area is unsafe at night but we have not experienced anything bad. The hotel has guards. The WiFi is really good. We had dinner a couple of times in the hotel which was also good. The only downside is that all the noise travels through the building because of the hard floors. People walking the stairs and talking can be heard in the room. When I go back to Addis I will definitely go back to this hotel.

I booked this spot because it was very affordable. Only upon arriving did I realize how huge and classy the place is. Was not expecting a big, sprawling executive style hotel. The place does have an air of faded glory from bygone times, but a very welcome stay. Rugs are worn, furniture in foyer a little beat up, but classy and comfortable throughout. Staff are fantastic, the grounds are enormous and lush, there are many places to sit and relax, and Ghion features a stunning restaurant. A massive, two-tier, round wooden building with a high, circular, peaked roof, in an elegant, sturdy Ethiopian traditional construction. Absolutely beautiful, with wonderful, authentic Ethiopian cuisine at an affordable cost. Wonderful. My only complaint is that, as an old guy with fading eyesight, rooms are dark! Even with all lights on, still tough to read anything, and it took some minutes to get water from the tub or sink to begin running warm. Still, and absolutely gorgeous site, well worth the very modest price. Will happily stay there again any time I return to Addis.
