Hotel Castle Plaza ★★★
"The facilities were clean and functioned well. Parking was good and the staff was very helpful"
Green Hill Hotel Akashi ★★★
"The spaciousness is something you wouldn't expect in a modern business hotel. The bathroom, toilet, and room were probably twice as large. Nowadays, there are more and more cramped business hotels like APA Hotels, but it reminded me of how spacious city hotels used to be. The old-fashioned key that you turn by hand is reassuring for people of my generation as you can see the room number. There's Wi-Fi, and the room is clean and comfortable. The only downside was that my window faced the train tracks, away from Akashi Castle ruins. The next morning, after taking a walk around Akashi Castle ruins, I asked for a welcome iced coffee on a whim, and they gave it to me for free, kindly showing me how to make it, and it was delicious. Check-out was at 11 am. It was nice to finally relax."
Akashi Luminous Hotel ★★
"The room is compact, with a small refrigerator and breakfast, which is quite tasty."
HOTEL PREFORT NISHIAKASHI ★★★
"This hotel is highly recommended! It's close to the station and the service is excellent. You can even enjoy a glass of wine or relax in the lobby. The rooms are clean and very comfortable."
Hitomaru Kadan ★★★
"It's quite a distance from Akashi Station. According to Google navigation, it takes 12 minutes to walk there. Fortunately, there's no need to walk. It takes about 8 minutes to take a taxi from Akashi Station to the hotel (but it takes 5 minutes for the taxi to leave the hotel and reach the station the next day). Make a reservation for two people to stay and eat together (breakfast the next day). The hotel seems to have a history, the rooms have been renovated, and the hotel has an elevator so you don't have to worry about heavy luggage. However, the hotel staff will help carry the luggage when you check in. The Japanese-style room feels very spacious for two people. There is a table and chair area by the window which is great. It is very pleasant to have a drink and chat after soaking in the hot springs in the evening. Although some traditional or older hot spring hotels are now non-smoking, there will still be some residual smoke smell, but this hotel has no smoke smell, so it is a good choice for people who hate the smell of smoke. The breakfast is light and the food is not outstanding, but it is pretty good. In terms of hot springs, the room has a bathtub for bathing, and you can also go to the public hot springs for men and women. There are saunas, indoor pools, and outdoor hot spring baths. The space is not big, but I was the only one there that night and the next morning, so I was alone. I enjoyed the whole hot spring. The hot spring is very comfortable and has no smell. I like it very much. However, it contains iron and you should not soak in it for too long, otherwise your skin will be astringent and dry. The staff who provided service when I checked in were very enthusiastic and kind, but the attitude of the staff when I checked out was obviously not so kind. However, I still thanked him for helping me call a taxi. (In addition, the breakfast service staff are very kind and enthusiastic, which makes people feel energetic in the morning, which is really great). The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the Owai Coast to see the sea view and Akashi Bridge. It’s great to take a walk and enjoy the scenery after breakfast!"
Remington Hotel ★★★
"The accommodation is convenient and the scenery nearby is great. But the breakfast food is all in fast food bags and has a lot of pour outs."
Smile Hotel Nishiakashi ★★★
"Take the JR tokaido line and exit via west (elevator, slope way, escalator available here if you have the luggage), after you exit please turn left and walk straight only. A little bit far from the sannomiya. The staff not good for english but has service mind. The room is quite small. There is the family mart, coco ichiban ya and another bakery shop near the hotel. You can leave your luggage before check in time for free."
Nishiakashi Rincarn Hotel ★★
"It's less than a 5-minute walk to the JR station, and there are drugstores and convenience stores nearby. The place is quite clean, and it's worth considering staying here during peak season. The biggest advantage is the free breakfast, which includes rice, miso soup, and side dishes—great value for money."
Tabist Hotel Yuan Akashi ★★★
"1. Location: 15 minutes walk from Higashi Futami Station 2. There is no water dispenser, but you will be given a bottle of water or a drink, you can choose 3. The service staff is not very good at English, so you can use translation software to communicate 4. There is a curfew at 12:00 p.m."
