"Excellent, we will definitely come back!! Stunning property - everything was finished to a high standard and loved that it’s furnished with mostly original pieces. The pool was lovely and surrounding vineyards are so peaceful to walk in. Margarida and her family were fantastic hosts and thought of everything. There are snacks/ small plates of hot food available which were really tasty. Uber/Bolt to the nearest city (Braga) was cheap (about €10 each way)."

"Our stay was full of heart! It was magical with the most exquisite service. The owners are so delightful and truly strive to make your every wish come true. The room was immaculate and very well appointed. The mattress and bedding made for excellent sleep. The air conditioning, which we definitely needed, kept a perfect, even temp. Every aspect of the facility was inviting and gorgeous! The attention to detail was remarkable, down to the quality of the hairdryer (I'm so picky about hairdryers)! We had time to enjoy the pool, and the stunning view from the pool area. Add to all of this, the breakfast was a 10+, the best we have ever had while traveling. The homemade pastries were over the top delicious, better than from any bakery. If you have the opportunity, plan a lunch or dinner there. That was an unexpected treat. You need to schedule the meal in advance, but well worth it! We would absolutely stay again at Casa d'Amares!"

"My girlfriend and I did the wine tasting and regional tapas selection. I had no idea what to expect, but I was blown away by the entire experience. When we arrived they immediately made us feel comfortable while we awaited our tour. Our guide (Sara) was very informative and passionate about the wine-making, including growing, fermenting, and bottling. We got an up-close look at each step of the journey, with detailed explanations for each part. She spoke English fluently and had great insights into all aspects of the process. We then went to taste the wines, which were all so unique and delicious. There were 4 wines (white, rosé, red, and sparkling). To pair with each wine, the hostesses brought out appropriate dishes, including charcuterie, bread, salad, regional empanadas, fish, house-made sausage, and pastel de nata for dessert. Everyone we encountered at Casa Lata was incredibly kind and hospitable. The value of the experience was off the charts, given the amount of food, wine, and the tour. 10/10."

"Beautiful place in a magical location and extra-ordinary hospitality! we spent two lovely nights and days in this special place and loved every moment of it. the views are amazing, the rooms are so well designed and comfortable and the owners are the most lovely people that took great care of us and made the best food for us! there is a lot to see and do in the area but you can also just stay and chill in the hot-tubs with the view all day long. we highly recommend and are looking forward to be back!"
