"A superb destination and discovery for us: it is like heaven on earth! Thanks to this visit, we plan to further discover Madagascar and come back again. We had a very nice welcome from all the personnel and hotel manager. They were always keen to support us and being very attentive to our needs. THANKS a lot! The hotel is providing the possibilities to go snorkeling around, fishing and visit some islands nearby. The bungalow was confortable and the view on the sea and beach is splendid. The food at the restaurant was various, simple with local specialities. We enjoyed as well the party on the beach! THANKS to all the staff and we already plan to come back"

"Hello, we visited this "resort" in march '26 with in total 3 friends and stayed in a luxury lodge with sea view (room 14). The room was big enough for 3 persons, nothing to complain about that! Everything was very clean and up to date. Towels and shower gel are also present. Please note that there is no air conditioning but instead you have 2 fans at your disposal to get some fresh winds. In March it was very moist and hot, so some nights it could get warm inside the lodge. The rains in the night made it even a little hotter. Food and drinks was very good and more then enough choice. Even some special requests were possible if you asked. Prices all very affordable. The personel was more then OK, once you have a connection with them they will do their absolute best to please everyone. Definitely a recommendation to visit this perfect resort."

"Nothing bad to say. Everything was beyond our expectations. The room was huge, comfortable with an exceptional beach view and stunning sunset. Phillip the owner is always working in the background knowing all the details of our excursions and needs. Staff are friendly despite our schoolboy/girl french and accommodate without hesitation. The exclusion to nosy fahiny is a must of you like to snorkel where you will see turtles and an abundance of tropical fish, you can even watch them catch the fish which they cook for you for lunch, sublime. Tip, best to book the bungalows on the beach front (at a premium) to truly enjoy the sunsets and easy access to the sea (obviously) but the sea view are good, set up some steps for a higher point of observation. We were first concerned the remoteness of the resort but with free kayaks, excursions, chill out area with the bar, pool table/table football kept us entertained. The sea is clear and even saw chameleons. A holiday to remember and cherished"

"Pros: Spacious room (we had a Big Panoramic Suite with Sea and Garden View) with a large bathroom (shower) and a huge terrace with a stunning view! The room has everything you need (air conditioning, fan, kettle, refrigerator), and the bathroom fixtures are new and in excellent condition. The bed is large. Everything is great. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to please. They arrange airport transfers (80,000 local), and you can book excursions (the price is the same as everywhere else). They try to help with any questions. Cons: There's almost no private grounds, only a small but lovely pool with 5-6 sun loungers (always available). It's a 6-minute walk down to the sea, but the sea isn't beautiful; the bottom is muddy, so no one swims. Cons: The breakfast is very poor (pancakes, yogurt, samsa, buns, some fruit, drinks); you have to pay extra for scrambled eggs and omelets (5,600 local). Water is not provided in the room. The toiletries provided are only soap. But the gorgeous view and huge room make up for the downsides :)"

"设施一流,景色迷人,但服务人员真的很非洲,不要期盼太多。 Facility is great.nice infinity pool to swim and fabulous bey view. Room also big with a very good bathtub . Try their massage you be surprised. Let’s talk about things need improvement. 1.mid night to 2am there’s construction knocking on going in restaurant which is right beside my room. I heard it loud and clear i just didn’t dare to believe this is what happened in a high end hotel. It’s common sense not to make noises during night time any level hotel. in the end i ran out 2am to restaurant to order them stop make noises at this hr. so they stopped. 2.then again 6am gardener is walking around besides my room several times. I can hear very clearly he is walking around and watering. Is that necessary to do gardening so early when ppl still try sleeping? really needs to train their employees to v some basic knowledge what not to do."

Constance Tsarabanjina - All Inclusive ★★★★★
"Our stay at Constance Tsarabanjina was truly one of the most special travel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a postcard. The island itself is simply breathtaking — crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white sand, and an atmosphere of pure tranquility. It is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature. What truly made the difference, however, was the team. Every single member of staff welcomed us with warmth, genuine kindness, and constant attention to detail. We never felt like “just guests”, we felt cared for. The food was excellent, the villas blend beautifully with the natural surroundings, and every day brought new unforgettable moments — from relaxing by the sea to enjoying magical sunsets. This is not just a beach holiday, it is a full experience. If you are looking for exclusivity, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality in a true paradise setting, this is the place. We left with full hearts and memories that will stay with us forever. Thank you to the entire Tsarabanjina team, we hope to return one day! Rui & Margarida"

"L’Heure Bleue is in a beautiful spot, with a stunning patio over looking the bay. Two pools one overlooking the bay. The staff are excellent and service was very good. The food was first class. I had the garden budget unit, but there are lovely chalets overlooking the bay. Edith at reception, the Manager and the owner went out of their way to accommodate me due to a flight cancellation. Thanks to the hotel for looking after me"

Anjiamarango Beach Resort ★★
"If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded accommodation with everything you need, you have found it! This is the ideal place for a perfect getaway where you don't have to worry about anything. The hospitable owner Philippe and his wife Lhaika will take care of all your wishes without any trouble. From the first contact via email, I knew this was THE place. Despite the usual internet issues, Philippe promptly answered all my numerous questions and even personally arranged a ham radio license for my husband to broadcast from Madagascar, which is usually not the easiest procedure. From landing at the airport to the takeoff of our plane back to Europe, everything was excellently taken care of. Organized transportation was waiting waiting for us at the airport, and upon arrival at the resort, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome and a brief introduction to all the activities they offer. Even though we don't speak a word of French, we were able to communicate in English with almost everyone without any problems. The bungalow is simply furnished but has everything you need. During high tide, it is about 10 meters from the sea, and during low tide, about 300 meters away. It is cleaned daily, towels and bed linen are regularly changed. Every late afternoon, the staff comes to draw the mosquito nets - so you don't have to worry about that either! Amazing sunsets... Breakfast is good, everyone finds something for themselves. Their fresh fruit juice is divine! Sometimes things run out, especially if you like to sleep long, but you have to keep in mind that you are in Africa and life flows quite differently... You need to order lunch and dinner in advance. The staff will find you a few hours before the meal, either on the beach, in the bungalow, or by the pool, to take your order and ensure you are served as quickly as possible. You don't need to look for restaurants on the island, as the food at the resort is fresh, tasty, and very affordable - I recommend daily fresh seafood and the zebu steak. Before arriving at Nosy Be, I was quite worried about the weather, as there is a rainy season at this time of the year. The worry was unnecessary; in 17 days, we only had one rainy morning and one cloudy day. It mostly rained at night, but everything dried up by morning. The main advantage was that there were no crowds at all the excursions and tourist attractions - we were almost alone everywhere, so we had a truly authentic experience. However, the rainy season also has some disadvantages - due to significant nighttime rainfall, the sea in front of the resort is quite murky and very, very warm, making it a bit less attractive for swimming. But the solution is the pool, which is well-maintained and clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip. You can spend quite a few pleasant hours on the comfortable loungers in the natural shade by the pool. You can also borrow kayaks and paddle about 300 meters to the colorful coral reef. Corail Noir Hotel ★★★
"Unfortunately, we can only discourage you from staying at this hotel. We stayed here for a total of five nights and were looking forward to a relaxing stay with great service. Regrettably, we were very disappointed and have never felt so badly taken advantage of. The rooms and complex are very nicely kept - but unfortunately the pool is hardly usable and there is no proper beach at the complex. For the private beach you have to take a boat to a neighboring island. In addition, the hotel generally focuses on Italian and French guests - English-speaking guests are much less well treated here. The choice of dinner must be made in the morning, whereby a 3-course menu is provided. This is basically okay in order to avoid wastage. However, my wife and I usually only chose one main course (and in exceptional cases also a dessert) - but we were still charged the price for all three courses, which we found more than impertinent - especially when this order is already placed in the morning. What struck us as unacceptable, however, was the way the airport transfer was organized. The day before our departure we ordered a transfer to the airport: we were told that this would cost 100,000 Ariary. At check-out, however, we were then charged 236,000 Ariary without any explanation. When asked about this, we were only told that there was no way of knowing what had happened the day before. There has also been no response to a subsequent email to date (two weeks ago). It is very shocking that the hotel is trying to profit from its guests in such a malicious way and unfortunately leaves us with a very bad impression. Even though we are normally convinced that hotels and restaurants are a matter of personal taste and can appeal to different people in different ways, we are convinced that such behavior cannot be excused in any way - which is why we have decided to leave a this review in order to spare other guests such a terrible experience."

"The strengths of this resort are the sympathy and availability of both owners, Franco and Manuel, and food. If you want it, you can order the pasta quietly (saying from one who never eats Italian abroad), because it is cooked and well-produced. Fish dishes are well made (only one night there was an inconvenience on the grilled powder that had remained rubber and they immediately proposed me if I wanted to order another dishes), white wine, French, is good. The price of the dishes is in line with the costs of Nosy Be, quite higher than in the rest of Madagascar. The affair is missing on the sea, even if the beach is only 50 meters away. For any advice you can ask Franco and Manuel."

Andriana Resort & Spa ★★★★
"**Outstanding Refund Ignored Despite Repeated Follow-Ups** We are a South African tour operator specialising in Madagascar travel. We made and paid for a booking with Andriana Resort & Spa in Nosy Be, which was later cancelled within the permitted cancellation period. The hotel acknowledged that a refund was due, requested Malagasy bank account details, and confirmed that the refund would be processed “within the next few days”. Relying on this assurance, we refunded our client in full, in good faith, before receiving the funds back from the hotel. Unfortunately, despite numerous follow-ups over several weeks, emails to the General Manager, telephone calls, a detailed written timeline, and a final deadline for payment, we have received neither the refund nor any meaningful response. This is extremely disappointing and concerning from a business perspective. As a travel company, we depend on suppliers who honour their own cancellation policies and communicate professionally when issues arise. In this case, Andriana Resort & Spa has left us carrying the financial burden of a refund that they acknowledged was due. We regret having to post this publicly, but after exhausting every reasonable private avenue, we feel other travellers and travel professionals should be aware of our experience. Should Andriana Resort & Spa resolve this matter and process the outstanding refund, we will update this review accordingly."
