"The Good The hotel was very clean and well looked after. It was also central to where we were visiting, Approx 1 1/2 hours from Cordoba, Seville and Granada. Rooms were basic, but large, clean and comfortable enough. Shame there were no balconies as that is often one of the loveliest things to do, just sit, have a drink and chat as you watch the world go by. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room but do take your own and ask for a kettle, they do give you one. The not so good It baffles me why some of the staff, not including the reception staff, were curt and often quite unfriendly, particularly the breakfast staff. Very rarely did we see a smile on their faces which is sad considering they are the first representatives of the hotel that you see every morning. We sat at the wrong table on our first morning only to be told off in front of everyone, it was embarrasing to say the least, we felt like naughty school children! Breakfasts were bearely passable and not overly enjoyed by many of the guests staying there. I had also been told that the evening meals were 'awful' (not my words) as we decided to eat elsewhere every evening. Antequera was lovely as were Cordoba, Granada and Seville, worth a visit to each place, a lovely part of the world."

"I was only one day, but the room was very good, quite clean and careful, I didn't use the dining room why I wanted to see the location as much as possible and ** enjoy ** typical meals, You must be careful and warn that you will not use the dining room so they will remember it because they wanted to charge me a meal without having been in the dining room ***** ***** *****..... Mother use the dining room and annoted it to my room, yet I had no problem in the clarification."

"Nice and very quiet hotel. Breakfast is delicious and extensive. The swimming pool with sunbathing area is super quiet. Free parking in front of the hotel. The room is nice and spacious with a good bathroom. El Torcal and the dolmen are well worth a visit. Antequera is a small, cute town. If you don't stay too long, it is perfectly manageable."

"The Room was very noisy and the outside pool was closed. No signs about it. The outside looks beautiful but the Environment not . It is mostly used by travellers who go out very early in the morning . "

"Superb hotel with breathtaking views, very friendly staff and excellent food. Lovely pool area - just be warned, it takes a cautious drive up the mountain roads with many bends. The drive is worth the end result though. We were only there one night so just had the standard room and it was very spacious."

"Such a relaxing and beautiful hotel the perfect size to feel peaceful without ever seeming crowded. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, and every member of staff we met was warm and friendly. We even checked in a little earlier than planned with no trouble at all. The on-site restaurants serve delicious food at very reasonable prices. They also cater well for dietary needs, with gluten-free bread available on request and even gluten-free beer. A good bottle of wine is around €18, which we felt was excellent value. The pool area is fantastic, a lovely spot to unwind. The nearest village is about a 10-minute drive away, with restaurants, a shop, and a bank. Due to the hotel’s location, having a car is highly recommended if you want to explore. It’s an easy, straightforward 40-minute drive from Málaga Airport. We chose the half-board option, which I’d definitely recommend. It includes breakfast and a three-course evening meal with a great selection of dishes. We’ll absolutely be returning for another mini-break in the future!"

"What a wonderful hotel on a beautiful square! We were warmly welcomed by Alba who was most helpful throughout our stay. Our room overlooking a tiled courtyard was spotless and spacious which was most unexpected given the moderate price. There was a lovely sitting room overlooking the square where one could relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was not available but there were several cafés nearby. The tourist office is just down the street and worth a visit , providing very useful information on the best approach to visiting the many sights in Antequera. There is a little hop on hop off bus which is great as it goes up to the castle, out to the dolmens and negotiates the narrow streets with ease. This hotel is ideally located for visiting Antequera and provides a great service."
