Lunan House

"Day 1 we arrived at Arbroath train station,had to get a taxi to Lunan house £25 on arrival we were shown to our room (Barack’s) two wooden beds no chairs and only a power point behind one bed.We went into the bar and grill for dinner there were four options but only two left,we just ordered chips.Went to the bar for a drink they had no Bacardi,then the bar shut at 9pm. Day 2 went for breakfast only one person serving took about half an hour and he was serving people first that came in after us. Went for dinner I had chili which was mostly just kidney beans,my mum had macaroni cheese which was tasteless. Bar shut again at 9pm. Day 3 got up and had breakfast,went back to our room (Barack’s) got ready to go to the beach,decided to go to the bar for a drink it was shut as was reception,there was no one around apart from two cleaners we were told the place was shut,my elderly mother was dehydrated due to not been able to get a drink. The company I booked through tried reception and couldn’t get an answer she messaged them to tell them we want our money back as we were leaving early had to book another hotel in Carnoustie taxi £50 room cost me another £120 for a night. Seemingly the hotel has got back to the company I booked through and I was told there will be no refund. I haven’t finished with them yet as I will be getting back in touch with the hotel,what a disgusting way too treat to older ladies."
