Set uo some steep roads on the outskirts of a rather unusual eastern German town, this hotel is a good choice. The decor is rather dated but totally functional. The hotel is spotlessly clean, a tribute to this family run hotel of about 20 rooms. The bedrooms have all you require, the beds are surprisingly comfortable and the bathrooms are sufficiently equipped. Many rooms have a balcony. As mentioned before, the decoration might not be to everyone's taste, it does appear rather 70s/80's but this is not a criticism. Parking spaces for just two cars but there's plenty of on-street parking in the surrounding roads. Breakfast is a good, typical german breakfast - nothing outstanding but more than adequate. Pleasant stay if you're in this part of the southern Harz.

Vriendelijk personeel, schone en nette kamers en voldoende parkeergelegenheid. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt. In de buurt zijn wat grote en leuke winkels. Omdat wij laat aankwamen waren deze al gesloten. Er zijn enkele eetgelegenheden in de buurt op loopafstand.
