"Seven wonderful days spent in the Limmathof. Located in a dreamy and quiet area, the hotel offers everything a traveler can wish. The suite in the house Raben with balcony direction Limmat was magnificent. The facilities are tasteful and the room is generous. The wall to the bathroom is of glass, but can be separated with a corner. This is not very close to the sight. The hotel's spa is a welcome change to the neighbouring fotryseven, which is notably overfyld. In the hotel's spa, it has a handful of guests who are more than well distributed in the thermal basin, in the steam bath and in the sauna. Also the fitness made a good impression. In the immediate surroundings of the hotel it has excellent restaurants. The breakfast in the dependance in Ennetbad (5 minutes walk) has not been suitable for us. But that was less at the offer than rather at our eating habits. Fortunately, there was the Café Raben in the house where we had our room. Dreamful coffee, freshly prepared baked products and Müesli every day and a extremely friendly service."

"I stayed for 5 days during my business trip as my go to hotel was not available. Staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. When I went to the room for the first time I was shocked a bit - the room created very mixed feelings, part of it looked like (using my coworker words) prison cell, the part with bathroom and fridge and some kitchen like cabinets was looking pretty new and nice. Also one of the first impressions was tripping over broken floor - was fixed in 2 days (see pictures). On a positive note - they are part of very nice fitness center complex (IMHO - hotel seems like a side business to the fitness facility) and they have a good restaurant on side - see the other review fir Clubhouse). All in all, good price but underwhelming room."

"Super central, newt to the train station, it is clean and cute, but the hotel 2 sides are facing 2 very busy streets. I was set in a double room on 1st floor and you could hear all the buses every 5mns coming out from the central bus station. My room was nicely designed, about 25 sqm, bed was comfy, and room had a nespresso machine. On the corridor there was even a nespresso tea machine. Breakfast isn't glorious at all, the cappuccino coming from am Automated machine was not drinkable, albeit I stayed 2 nights, and had 2 Breakfast, it was the same quality (poor) and limited choice every morning. The.gym is more a closet with weights, no tread mill or any machine. For that the price was i found exorbitant, 210 chf a night, in zurich you pay less and get more, so for Baden you can definitely get better hotels for less too."

"The hotel for me was a bit weird the set up in the old ABB transformer factory (hence the name) but its a good hotel small room, central location and not to expensive so its a great option if you are visiting Baden."

"I arrived to Switzerland with my family and stayed 2 months in River Residence in a 2 bedroom suite with washing machine and drier included in the apartment. We stayed in many nice hotels before but without a question, River Residence is the best place we have ever stayed because the rooms were so clean, big, modern and the location is fantastic. River Residence is in the nicest area of Baden and also the train station is a 6 minute walk from where Central Zurich is only a 15 min train journey so the area of this accommodation is an ideal place for business visitors but equally also for tourists. The management is amazing, very nice, responsive and everything we wished for has been accommodated. We can’t wait to return to River Residence!"

"This hotel lacks a soul. Poor checkin experience, poor breakfast, elevators that open different ways and you end upon the street and not in the hotel. Poor rooms, sterile and a bit like a prison room to be honest. Genuinely one of the poorest experiences I have had. Not worth the money, my advice is to avoid this hotel, and there are better options locally."
