Slightly disappointed with the service due to miscommunication between reception and porter, but very comfortable stay. Restaurants are all good. Rooms are big is value for money even though it’s not a new hotel. You still can hear commotion outside from the guests staying next door.

I stayed at Swissotel Ratchada from January 3 to 8, 2025, and while there were some positives, one serious issue left me quite concerned.
The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance to plenty of food options and shopping areas, which made getting around very convenient. The design of the hotel feels a bit dated, but it’s still in good condition and maintains a certain charm.
I stayed on the 7th floor, and on January 4, there was scheduled electrical maintenance from around 11 AM to 5 PM. During this time, the electricity was completely off, which meant the elevators weren’t working. This was inconvenient, but what truly worried me was discovering that the emergency staircase was sealed off on the 6th floor. I had to use the stairs because the lifts were down, only to find there was no way to exit safely. When I asked the staff, they told me I would need to wait until the power was back on. Strangely, I also noticed that on the lift, there is no 6th floor listed.
This is a serious safety issue. If there had been an actual emergency, there was no viable escape route, which is unacceptable. Guest safety should never be compromised, and I hope the hotel addresses this immediately.
While I appreciated the location and general upkeep of the hotel, I would recommend it, but the safety remains a big question mark.

Very good 5 star hotel,staying three nights with no regret, nothing to complain,the staff are friendly and always with great smile, the breakfast was very nice with many variety, I will definitely back to this hotel if I travel to Bangkok. Another plus point is the location which 5 minutes walk to huai Khwang mrt,easy for travelling around.

Smoke smell in the corridor and room despite is a non smoking hotel. Shower not working properly, water turns cold and hot randomly.

Our 2nd time staying in this hotel. Love the walking distance to the nearest MRT station.
Everything was well. Except the amenities might need to catch up. Will be nice if there is a coffee machine with choices of capsules in the room.
Air con was very strong and cold despite we tried to turn off.
The sound isolation was not very good especially someone staying above of us were jumping the floor the whole night.
Lastly, the greatest disappointment was the food and beverages promotion. Be it the hotel in room tv channel or poster shown in the lobby. It stated hotel guest pays only Baht 1200 net per person with the Chinese restaurant for all you can eat Buffet. But three of us had to pay full prices of Baht 1499+++ per pax. The restaurant told us that the promotion ended in November 2024. We cannot comprehend the outdated promotion information that came from the hotel. Quite disappointed with this matter.
